Best Man
Jeff is my (Tim's) older brother (his only sibling) who lives in Charlotte with his wife Meghan, their son Paxton (4 years old, born May 2017), and their daughter Coralei (1 year old, born Feb 2020). My bro and Meghan met in HS around Lake Norman and have been married since 2013. Jeff went to NC State and was a short drive down the road from Meghan who went to UNC which made for some great weekends and a fun rivalry during college. We have been very close going back to the days of heated 1-1 bball games on the driveway when we were young. It's been amazing watching my brother grow up as a great husband to Meghan and now as a father to his two beautiful kids. Michelle and I are fortunate as we get to see them and their family often in Charlotte, great having family a close drive away!
Officiant
Craig is Tim's uncle and is one of Tim's mom's two younger brothers (Craig and Neal). Craig lives in Chicago with his wife Janice. They have three kids, Trevor (married to Kasia), Brittany, and Carly. Craig is a big into the outdoors, yoga, and is an avid beer enthusiast. Uncle Craig met Michelle on our first trip together to Chicago. He has been a great supporter of our relationship and has been close to Tim going back to his early years growing up in Chicago. We can't thank Craig enough for being willing to marry us as he has seen Michelle and I since our early days together and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Mother of the Bride
I am honored to have my mom, Kim Jones, walk me down the aisle. She has been my biggest supporter, whether that means cheering me on or pushing me to do better. She, in fact, pushed me to stick with dating apps and on the next date, I met Tim! My mom is married to Scott Nelson and they love traveling just as much as we do. Our last trip before COVID was meeting up with them in Breckenridge. Scott and Tim have gotten my mom and I into skiing and we all love it!
Maid of Honor
Who better to stand by my side other than my sister, Shelby! Shelby and I grew up loving to sing and dance like fools.. not much has changed there. We have had some amazing experiences travelling Europe together and we look forward to getting back to that soon! Pitcher of sangria for two please :) Shelby was traveling for work pre-COVID and stayed with Tim and I on occasion and that's where we introduced him to My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I'm lucky to have such an incredible and loyal sister that will make sure I don't look like a Snow Beast on our Wedding Day and will have the Windex handy. Love you Shelby!
