Wedding Party

A long piece of garment that is typically wrapped around the waist, with one end draped over the shoulder. You wear this with a blouse that can be customized to your taste - deep neck, halter, short sleeves, backless - anything goes.

A three-piece set with a blouse, a long skirt and a scarf. Your blouse could be a cropped tank top, halter neck or strapless, with a flowy skirt of a complementary color.

Lehenga

Anarkali is an ankle length dress that is fitted till the ribcage and then flares out. It is worn with fitted cotton pants and a scarf around your neck.

Sharara

A kurta pajama comprises of a loose, collarless top called the kurta and comfortable bottoms called pajama. The colors and level of embroidery dictate how fancy this can be. Check out Malavika's dad in this picture!

A Sherwani is a long coat-like jacket that is knee length. The bottoms are usually fitted cotton pants. This is more formal, and perfect for an evening event.
