Sightseeing

If you would like to do some additional sightseeing while you are in India, you have plenty of options nearby. Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur are within a 3-4 hour drive of each other and make up a popular tourist circuit called the “Golden Triangle Tour”.
India’s capital city features three UNESCO World Heritage sites: two from the Mughal Empire (Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb) as well as the Qutub Minar, a minaret dating back to before 1200. Feeling adventurous? Try some street food in Chandni Chowk.
Jaipur, known as the “Pink City”, planned according to the principles of Vastu Shastra, is a UNESCO world heritage site. With shuttles going to/from Jaipur, it would be easy to visit this city before/after the wedding.
Completing the triangle is Agra, the city that hosts the world famous Taj Mahal, a must-see for anyone visiting India (closed on Fridays!).
If you have more time, a quick flight will also take you to a beach paradise in Goa, the bustling city of Mumbai or the backwaters of Kerala.
