To make sure your arrival goes smoothly, we have hired the transportation/concierge firm “Your Cancun DMC” to pick you up at Cancun International Airport and bring you directly to your hotel in Tulum. Please feel free to make your own arrangements, however if you use this service it will help you to minimize costs. This service groups together as many passengers from the wedding that are arriving / departing around the same time into each private vehicle. Chiringuito Tulum is a boutique hotel located directly on the beach in one of the best locations in Tulum. The hotel is also directly next door to Zorba Beach Homes -- where the wedding and reception will be hosted. The mediterranean stye hotel is upscale and very quaint, some of the rooms even have their own private rooftop pool. Rooms can accommodate anywhere from 2 - 3 guests. We highly recommend this option for those who want to be near the wedding festivities, directly on the beach and close to the best shops, spas and dining options.

Zorba Beach Homes

Zorba is a collection of six boutique beach homes that accommodates a total of 42 guests. Zorba is a privately owned property located in the center of the Tulum beach road, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be hosted here. Please contact us directly if you wish to reserve a room here.

Mahayana Tulum is the sister property to Zorba Beach Homes and is located about a 4 minute taxi ride or 13 minute walk from Zorba -- where the wedding ceremony and reception will be hosted. The property has a collection of boutique style homes perfect for couples, families and groups of friends. The houses vary in size from studios, to 4 bedrooms homes, and a home with a swimming pool. All of the houses are located directly on the beach in the heart of Tulum. The houses include fully equipped kitchen and staff to welcome you and assist you during your stay, and are fully furnished with towels, bed linens and beach towels.

Playa Selva is a collection of boutique houses and bungalows situated right on the beach in the heart of the Tulum beach road. The homes are located a short 5 minute walk away from the wedding venue. The houses and the bungalows are situated right on the beach, surrounded by a garden with coconut palms and native plants. The electrical supply and water is obtained with solar energy. This option is perfect for families and groups of friends.

NEST Tulum

NEST is a quaint boutique hotel located about a one minute walk from the wedding venue. The hotel is beachfront and has twelve hotel rooms and one private villa property perfect for a family or large group. We highly recommend this option for those who want to be near the wedding festivities, directly on the beach and close to the best shops, spas and dining options -- there is a small beachside restaurant and bar attached to the hotel as well for convenience.

Travel Note

Traveling To Cancun

We recommend flying into the Cancun International Airport. Flight time from Houston or Austin to Cancun is approximately two hours. Upon arrival in Cancun you will go directly from the arrival gate to immigration processing. Travelers will be provided immigration + customs declaration forms on the plane and should fill them out during the flight. After the immigration process you will collect luggage and head towards the customs check point. At the customs check point luggage is searched on a random basis -- this line moves quickly and your luggage will likely not be checked. After passing through the customs check point there will be ATMs and bathrooms that we recommend taking advantage of -- this will be your last opportunity to use the bathroom and get cash before leaving the airport.

Transportation From Cancun To Tulum

As you exit the Cancun airport you will enter an area where taxi cabs and vans are waiting to provide transportation. The wedding party will have a pre-booked van service and a representative of the van company will be holding a sign to let travelers know where to go. Additional details on this will be provided as soon as they become avaliable. It might take the pre-booked van service 15 - 20 minutes to get a van to the pick-up location, during this time we recommend grabbing beers and margaritas at the outdoor Margaritaville Bar -- this is highly encouraged to help kick start vacation mode! Tulum is approximately a 1.5 hr drive south of the Cancun airport. The drive to Tulum is on a well-paved, four-lane highway. There are no planned stops on the way, so please plan to use the bathroom before leaving the airport.
