Amber Chesterman
Matron of Honor
Amber is Nicole's cousin from Michigan. She is the one we can thank for teaching Nicole how to shave her legs. Even though they lived on opposite sides of the country, Nicole and Amber have such a special cousin bond and grew up seeing each other several times a year. They have fond memories of blueberry picking, building giant snowmen as a family (our tallest was 15 feet), time spent at grandma and grandpas house, and sleepovers watching Pride and Prejudice and the Wedding Planner. Nicole was Ambers Maid of Honor in 2011 and now she gets to return the favor.
Joe Rodewald
Best Man
Joe and Thomas met at the Boise Tower in 2015. Nicole and Thomas have enjoyed couples game nights with Joe and his wife Sarah. Thomas and Joe have enjoyed going fishing together. Joe is someone that Thomas can always count on and has been a great friend over the past few years.
Sarah Simon
Matron of Honor
Sarah is one of Nicole's BFF's that she has known since elementary school. While they didn't start hanging out till 2nd grade, they were pictured together at the Kinderthon. Sarah and Nicole share the same passion for snowboard trips, traveling to different countries, and competitive UNO and Ticket To Ride game nights. Sarah has been one of Nicole's most loyal friends and has been there for all of her big moments, including surprising her in Alabama at a DQ for her graduation. Nicole was one of Sarahs bridesmaids where she got to see Mr. and Mrs. Simon say “I Do.”
Nick Stott
Groomsman
Nick and Thomas met at a NATCA function in 2011 and became fast friends. So much so that Nick tried to set him up with his sister so that they would become family, thankfully for Nicole, things didn’t work out. They both enjoy the outdoors.
Ali Amar
Bridesmaid
Even though Nicole is Ali’s middle name, they share a lot more than that. Ali and Nicole grew up on 10th street. They were entrepreneurs with their grand candy and lemonade stands. They went through years of braces to get these pretty faces. From trampoline days, trips to Tomboy's for hamburgers and curly fries, to tag on the block, their bond is unbreakable.
Mike Patterson

Mike aka “Lucky” and Thomas met at the Boise Tower in 2017. They enjoy riding dirt bikes together and visiting different local breweries. Nicole and Thomas enjoyed camping with Lucky and his wife Katie in Sun Valley for the trailing of the sheep festival.
Kelly McMurray

Kelly and Nicole met in grad school. Nicole knew they would be great friends when Kelly jokingly asked her new Californian roommate if she would want to get a dolphin table for their house. Kelly and Nicole went their separate ways for residencies, but they have found excuses to get to see each other over the past few years.
Clay McCarty

Clay and Thomas met at the Boise Tower in 2016. Thomas enjoys going fishing with Clay and doing NATCA activities when they were president and vice president of the local union.
Kady Eshleman
Bridesmaid
What do Kady and Nicole have in common? They both grew up on 10th street together, have the same middle name, and have a creative side to them. Kady is a published author and is passionate about writing books for children to help them cope with difficult times. Kady stood by Nicole's side even when Nicole fell crossing the busy street in her heelies. Nicole and Kady enjoyed making short films using Kady's dads VHS camera. Kady also flew out to Alabama to visit Nicole, not only once, but twice for her graduation. Nicole was a bridesmaid in Kady's wedding in 2019, now it’s Kadys turn to stand by Nicole’s side.

Matt and Thomas met at the Boise Tower in 2014. They both love discussing philosophy and movies (especially Star Wars). Thomas enjoys his energetic fun going personality.
Ariel Gavidia
Bridesmaid
Ariel and Nicole met in 6th grade and quickly became friends. They were involved in the same Bible study group throughout high school. They both went to college at Point Loma together. They have traveled to Dominican Republic, Columbia, and England together. From church camps to roommates, they got pretty good at sharing close quarters and got to know each others highs and lows, just like sisters would. Nicole was a bridesmaid in Ariel's wedding in 2019, now it’s Ariel's turn to stand by Nicole’s side.
Tyler Norden
Groomsman
Tyler is Nicole's younger brother and Brian and Denise Norden's favorite son. Nicole and Tyler grew up with a special sibling bond. Nicole left the nest first for college, but Tyler joined her at Point Loma as a freshmen when Nicole was a senior. Nicole is very thankful for their close relationship no matter how many miles are between them. Thomas has enjoyed getting to know Tyler over the years.
Francesca Farias

Fran and Nicole first met and became friends in high school. From Stagecoach, Cancun, New York, and Mammoth adventures, their friendship is always evolving. Fran was one of Nicoles first snowboard students up at Big Bear. When Nicole fractured her humerus, Fran was there to lend a hand. Nicole and Fran get to experience being engaged during Covid and are excited to celebrate these exciting moments together.
Noah Eades
Groomsman
Noah is Thomas’s nephew. Thomas lived with his sister and her husband for a little bit and got to be Noah's roommate for the first year of Noah's life. Thomas and Noah both enjoy playing video games and Legos whenever they get a chance to visit together.
Tatiana Grunauer
Bridesmaid
Tati and Nicole first met in high school. From running the Manhattan Beach 10K’s, Snowboarding trips (Big Bear, Brundage, Mammoth and Tahoe), camping trips, and Palm Springs trips, they both share a passion for life and traveling. Nicole was lucky to have Tati down in San Diego for undergrad for a year where they enjoyed many burritos together. They started a group called the SSC (Sunday Skate Crew) where they enjoyed long skates on the strand while watching the sunset. No matter where Nicole decided to move, Tati was there to visit. Tati surprised Nicole in Alabama for her graduation and has come to Idaho to meet Thomas and go shed hunting. From Mt. Whitney to Mt. Kilimanjaro, there’s no adventure too great for her. Tati and her high school sweet heart got engaged last year.
