Details

If you have questions about anything, please (!!!) do not be shy to ask. Again, we truly love Martha's Vineyard and are so so excited for you to come.
Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is at Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Edgartown. It is a Catholic mass that will take approximately one hour. All are welcome!

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

24 Leah's Lane! It is a private residence owned by Daniella's dad's childhood friend, Mark and Deidre Morris. If you come to the wedding, you will be lucky enough to meet them.

Question

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from Oak Bluffs to the Ceremony, from the Ceremony to the Reception, and back to both Edgartown and Oak Bluffs following the reception. If you are staying in Edgartown and would like to attend the Welcome Party, please call a taxi or Uber to Oak Bluffs.

Question

Does Martha's Vineyard have Uber?

Answer

Please be aware that Ubers and Lyfts, while available, are limited. The public bus system is a great option if you are looking to get around the island, and taxi stands in Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. If you would like to rent a car, there are many rentals available in the main towns.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We hope you can celebrate all evening with us, therefore, this is an adult only event. Please refer to your invitation as to the specific guests who are invited. If you would like to bring your kids to MV, we are happy to reach out to local contacts for babysitting assistance.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes! We do not have final details on what local watering hole we will be attending post reception, but promise it will be a good one!

Question

What is an ideal Martha's Vineyard day for you two?

Answer

Wake up, walk East Chop in Oak Bluffs. Beautiful view, beautiful homes, uh its just chef's kiss. Then sit on the beach for the day. Jump off the bridge. Get an afternoon Aperol Sprtiz from Noman's. Maybe even an afternoon ice cream from Carousel. Go home, nap, then dinner at home. Walk to town and have a night at The Ritz.

Question

Is the Vineyard cold in September?

Answer

On a perfect September day, it is usually a t-shirt during the day and sweatshirt at night weather. We will have heaters if needed, but please dress accordingly.

Question

How many towns are on Martha's Vineyard? Do I need a car?

Answer

There are seven towns, but really three main places you will go - Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, and Vineyard Haven. You would need a car to get between the towns, or you can take the public transportation that is very safe and easy. The towns that are 'up island' are beautiful but take time to get to and don't have as much going on. If you rent a car, I recommend going to Aquinnah and seeing the Cliffs. It takes about an hour to get there. Menemsha is a very cute fishing town with the best sunsets on the island. If you go, get a lobster roll at Larsen's and sit on the beach.

Question

What are your favorite stores to shop at?

Answer

Edgartown has better shopping than Oak Bluffs. But here are my favorites in both. Blush Boutique (Oak Bluffs) Slip 77 (Oak Bluffs) Black Dog (Oak Bluffs and Edgartown - classic) Suka (Edgartown) Sea Legs (Edgartown) Rags (Edgartown but affordable) Vaalbara (Edgartown) Free People (Edgartown)
