Question

What should I expect for a Catholic wedding?

Answer

You can expect to be welcomed! We are excited to include guests of all faiths in our celebration. Programs will be provided so all guests can follow along with the readings. Our wedding ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass, including Communion. All guests are encouraged to approach the alter during Communion. If you are not a practicing Catholic, please place your hands crossed on your chest, and the priest will be happy to offer you a blessing. Please note food and drinks are not allowed within the church, but cocktail hour will begin soon after mass is concluded.
