There are many great Airbnb and vacation rental options in and around Oak Park for guests who prefer a group stay with family/ friends in a more homey setting. We recommend booking early, especially for Memorial Day Weekend, as availability may be limited. Neighborhoods within 10-15 minutes of Cheney Mansion: 1. Oak Park: closest and most convenient and can be walkable to the venue. 2. River Forest: quiet, residential, just west of Oak Park. 3. Forest Park: more affordable, quick drive or Uber ride to the venue. 4. South Elmwood Park or Berwyn: budget-friendly options slightly farther away from the venue. Located about 25 minutes from Oak Park, O’Hare is the largest airport in the area with a wide range of domestic and international flights. It’s a convenient choice for most guests flying in from out of town.
