Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM, so we recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find your seat, take in the scenery, and settle in.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We’ve got a beautiful backup plan! The venue has indoor space and tenting options if the weather doesn’t cooperate, but we’re crossing our fingers for sunshine.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Garden party formal — think floral, festive, and semi-formal. Sundresses, suits, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all great. If you're unsure, when in doubt, lean dressy.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes, we’ll have a full dinner and drinks throughout the night.

Question

I have a food allergy. What should I do?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP so we can be sure you're taken care of. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the meal.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through Zola. Instead of traditional gifts, we are asking for contributions toward our honeymoon fund to go toward our experiences and help us create memories. You can find all the details on our “Registry” tab.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation included a guest, we’d love for you to bring them! If not, we’re keeping things intimate and hope you’ll still join us.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, if not specifically stated on your invitation, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this can be a fun night out for you!

Question

Should I wear heels?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held on grass and stone paths, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is the closest major airport, about 25 minutes from the venue. Midway (MDW) is also nearby, about 30 minutes away.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re asking guests to unplug during the ceremony so we can all be fully present. After that, please feel free to snap away and upload the photos to our shared album. A QR code will be found on your dinner table.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Absolutely, after dinner we’ll be heading straight to the dance floor.
