Our Story

Maggie and Michael’s love story began when they met to do homework in 2017. Because of a year-long class together, they spent many late nights getting to know each other and, occasionally, studying.

After a semester apart abroad, their bond grew stronger. Michael made it official in April 2019, and by May, Maggie had him in Orlando.

They spent the summer of 2019 falling deeper in love. Although they grew up worlds apart, their lives instantly clicked and they became inseparable.

Visits to the Hamptons and the Jersey Shore quickly became one of their favorite things to do together. The long drives out east and "down the shore" became easier with good company.

They started traditions, like carving pumpkins and apple picking every fall.

And visiting the Rockefeller tree every Christmas.

They attended their senior dance together, quickly realizing how truly blessed they were to find each other at a place that meant so much to both of them.

That fall, Maggie took Mike to his first Iron Bowl and he instantly became an Auburn fan.

Not long after, their visit to Super Bowl LIV right before COVID struck was a trip they would never forget.

In a blink, college was over. A global pandemic and a virtual graduation brought them closer in unexpected ways.

During the summer of 2020, peaceful nights in closed beach towns created lasting memories.

The pause before starting their professional journeys allowed them to cherish extra moments with family, friends, and one another.

Later that year, they both moved to Hoboken. A place they now call home.

In 2021, they got to experience graduation ‘again,’ but this time, surrounded by family and friends.

In their free time, Maggie and Mike continued to escape to the beach whenever possible.

They also bonded over their love for country music. Maggie thought, “Where did I meet an Italian boy who loves country more than me?!”

Maggie learned to love and support Mike’s favorite sports teams.

Lucky for Jack, Mike loves the Mets and Giants too.

We can’t forget about the Devils! Only a Jersey Boy could get a Florida Girl to watch a hockey game outside in February.

And of course the Friars - a team they would equally love and support through thick and thin.

In summer 2023, Mike surprised Maggie with a trip to her dream vacation destination - Oahu, Hawaii.

Later that year they traveled back to Dublin, where in 2018 their feelings for one another was first spoken.

When not traveling afar, Florida became their favorite getaway. Family, friends, sunshine, and Disney half-marathons—each trip a new chapter in their love story.

In April 2024, they celebrated their 5 years of dating with friends who have been there every step of the way. They couldn’t imagine their lives or love story without them.

A few short months later, Michael popped the question on the beach in Montauk. It was the perfect sunset, evening, and surprise.

Their smiles have never been bigger.

They enjoyed the engagement bliss with lots of parties put on by friends and family.

Before the wedding mayhem began, they took a relaxing trip to Spain, Italy, and France.

One year until their wedding date, Maggie and Michael went back to Rhode Island to begin the wedding festivities.

Providence was the city that led them to each other. They couldn’t think of a more perfect place to start their happily ever after.
