Rachel Piacentini

Matron of Honor

Rachel is the bride's oldest sister and shares two adorable children, Benjamin (ring bearer) and Katherine (flower girl) with Bryan Piacentini (groomsmen). As the oldest sister, Rachel was the one who set their parents expectations for their children, and she set them HIGH. While this wasn't always appreciated by Laura (Matron of Honor) and Sarah growing up, looking back they are thankful for a role model like Rachel. Sarah has always looked up to Rachel for her intelligence, savviness, strength and loyalty. Sarah's favorite memories with Rachel have been all their adventures while Rachel was at Wharton Business School in Philly and Sarah was at Princeton in nearby New Jersey as well as all the great conversations and Catan games by the beach in Virginia.

Chris Kalamchi

Best Man

Chrissy and Andy first locked eye as opponents on the bball floor in 8th grade. He was wearing more wristbands than Allen Iverson, and his lefty penetration was intimidating. It was serendipitous for Andy to see him again a few years later on his first day at a new school, when Andy discovered Chris was the most welcoming, amiable, and convivial gentleman. Andy had a thought on a trip we took a year later to the Bahamas that it would be pretty cool if Chris was the best man at his wedding. Chris lives in Brooklyn with his fiancé and high school crush Laura.

Laura Johnson

Matron of Honor

Laura is the bride's middle sister and married to Matt (groomsman). Despite Sarah having the most wonderful selfless mother already, Laura always enjoyed taking on a motherly role and ensuring Sarah was staying out of trouble/not hanging out with the wrong people, Rachel wasn't taking her to the frat house when she would visit them at UW, and just generally caring so deeply about Sarah's happiness in life. Sarah has always admired Laura's compassion, desire to protect the ones she loves, and warm nature (that makes you want to tell her all your secrets). Sarah's favorite memories with Laura have been the more vulnerable conversations had as adults and bonding over their mutual love for music at Beyonce and Britney Spears concerts.

Thomas Martel

Groomsman

Thomas is a great friend, so much so that he’s received trophies for his acts of friendship. He and Andy became close living together on Lombard St. in San Francisco upsetting the downstairs neighbor with music and Shmoney moves. He and Andy have been on many adventures, including showing up to a group ski lease in Lake Tahoe with 20 people they’d never met and dancing for lodging on top of Mount Washington. Thomas lives in Pac Heights and works at Facebook where he’s followed his passion of getting people’s location data.

Emily Easton

Bridesmaid

Emily and Sarah met on their Princeton track official visit when they were still in high school. Sarah was immediately intimidated by the confidence she exuded and her East Coast honesty . It didn't take long for Sarah to realize what a genuine, caring person Emily was (with the best quirks like wanting her future Bachelorette in Colonial Williamburg - noted). Sarah could not be more appreciative to have a friend like Emily to will cry over cute dog photos with, somehow convince live bands to let her on stage to dance/sing/play drums, hype you up like no other, give you all the beauty product advise, and always have your back.

Emily Van Wormer

Groomswoman

Emily is the best sister Andy could ask for. She’s always welcomed Andy into her world of friends and events, picked out trendy attire (the pink polo will make a comeback), snuck video games Andy wasn’t supposed to have, saved all of Mrs. Chercio’s 8th grade completed assignments, and in general made Andy’s life easier based on the lessons she’s learned. Andy is lucky to have her around and is overjoyed she’ll be at the wedding to help Andy figure out what to text Sarah. Emily lives with Cosmo in Jersey City.

Colleen Boyce

Bridesmaid

Colleen was Sarah's first college roommate. It took all of maybe all of 2 minutes for Sarah to realize they were going to be fast friends and decide to live in the same bedroom as Colleen in their Butler quad rather than risk the other roommates who had yet to arrive. Colleen made going to college knowing absolutely no one a little less scary. Besides their mutual love for soft peppermint candies by the tub full, doing all their homework in bed, and all things animals, Colleen was there for Sarah for her first Thanksgiving away from home, the long nights cramming for Bio tests, prepping for senior thesis scholarship interviews, and all the other ups and downs of college and now adult life.

Adam Fleishman

Groomsman

Adam the wise has taught Andy invaluable life lessons. They met at Emory University, were roommates junior year, and reunited under one roof again 2 years later in The City. Though Andy has always enjoyed hanging out with Adam, Adam became a true hero in Andy’s book when putting out an apartment fire with a Gatorade bottle, saving 3. Adam has been with Andy on numerous adventures from the mountains of Gatlinburg, to the shores of Sint Maarten, and in a long cab ride back from eastern Long Island. Adam lives in The City with his wife Rachel and baby Gabriel.

Emily Broyles

Bridesmaid

Emily was on the track team with Sarah and shortly after meeting freshman year, the two were quickly inseparable. Every meal they had in Wu dining hall, night they went out, home football game to paint up for, sorority event, late night Starbucks run from Firestone library, they were together. There are too many memories to list but some of Sarah's favorite (or at least most memorable) are eating yogurt mixed with jelly and granola EVERY NIGHT because they gave up desert for Lent and this concoction satisfied their sweet tooth, solo Taylor Swift pre-games, Saturday morning yoga followed by giant Wu Dining Hall Omelettes and every Sunday Funday.

Aaron Jakubovitz

Groomsman

No one knows who this is or how he got invited

Katie Goepel

Bridesmaid

Sarah met Katie through Emily B (bridesmaid) since they both lived in Forbes - the furthest dorm from campus - as underclassmen. Katie was instantly welcoming and Sarah loved (and still loves) her live-in-the-moment attitude. They enjoyed many impromptu late night drives blasting music, trips to Twist Frozen Yogurt (although trips no where near as frequent as with Emily E and Emily B - Sarah is not as ice cream obsessed), and nights out when tennis and/or econ classes finally gave her a moment of freedom. Katie is a friend you can do nothing with and still have it be the best time. Some of Sarah's favorite days with Katie have been raining LBI days in "The Pit" - aka the largest most comfortable couch that is impossible to leave.

Josh Ephraim

Groomsman

Andy met Josh through Adam and Aaron, and lived together on the upper east side of Manhattan. Andy immediately connected with Josh’s shameless passion for the movie Pitch Perfect, and ability to navigate classy bars like Penrose. After some great memories in that apartment, Josh left for sunny San Francisco, and Andy soon followed to reunite for Salt and Straw, triathlons, hikes, and fun times. Josh lives with his wife Emily in Brooklyn.

Jamie Shenk

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Jamie met on Jamie's official visit to Princeton to join the track team and throw Javelin with Sarah. Sarah was a freshman at the time and felt bad making someone sleep on her floor so gave Jamie her bed and slept on the floor during her visit. Turns out Jamie thought that was a bit weird but luckily for Sarah, Jamie got over it. The two went on multiple trips in college together and Jamie was the one who sold Sarah on moving to SF during their visit for their shared birthday. After graduating, Jamie's Masters and PhD Programs at Oxford have kept her across the world and very busy but when they do get the chance to reconnect it's like nothing has changed, picking right back up on their last heart to heart.

Bryan Piacentini

Groomsman

Andy met Bryan at a family get-together in Chelan, WA playing Catan and training/floating like driftwood in the lake. Bryan has won awards not only in triathlons, but additionally in the Waszkewitz family olympics. And despite his beer choice being Coors, he plays a very sophisticated game of chess. Bryan lives with his wife Rachel, son Benjamin, daughter Katherine, and doggo Stella in Richmond, VA.

Taylor Perkins

Bridesmaid

Sarah met Taylor at her first job in SF. Shortly after Sarah joined the company Taylor announced she was leaving but luckily they both shared a mutual friend Andie Summers who kept them connected. Thankfully so as Taylor helped Sarah get her job at Google and introduced her to Andy! Before Andy and Sarah's first date, she would ask Sarah no less than 3x a month if they had gone on a date yet or had it planned. Aside from her match making skills, Taylor has always been there to give advice on everything from relationships to career development to dogs and now to wedding planning. Little did Sarah know, Taylor had been the one behind the scenes leading up to Sarah and Andy's engagement regularly texting Andy with advice/asking for updates while making sure Sarah was in the dark.

Matt Johnson

Groomsman

Andy met Matt at a family get-together in Chelan, WA when they entered a debate on whether Die Hard (1988) was a christmas movie. Matt is lowkey, very funny and Andy is excited to get to call him a brother after the big day. Though you may need to mute notifications in his group text threads, it’s only because you want to batch the amusement and joy of his commentary for the end of the day. Matt lives with his wife Laura in Seattle with their two dogs Stella and Iggy (@iggy.theschnauzer)

Katherine Piacentini

Flower Girl

Katherine is the newest family addition, daughter of of Rachel (matron of honor) and Bryan (groomsman) and will be 1 years old at the wedding. She is a smiley baby girl who loves avocado, her big brother Benjamin, and fur sister Stella, staring at lights and if Sarah get's her way, unicorns.

Benjamin Piacentini

Ring Bearer

Benjamin is the son of Rachel (matron of honor) and Bryan (groomsman) and will be 3 years old at the wedding. He is a bundle of energy who loves watching people operate heavy machinery, Disney Land rides, his baby sister Katherine, fur sister Stella, and eating lobster.
