When should I book my stay?

Answer

ASAP. The wedding weekend falls on Memorial Day in 2026, and lodging books up quickly. See "Travel" tab for details.

Question

If Black Butte Ranch is already booked out - where else can I stay?

Answer

Check out VRBO and Airbnb! Some private owners at the ranch rent out their lodging on those sites. Search "Black Butte Ranch, OR" on either of those sites. Other options are staying in Sisters (15 mins away), Redmond (25 mins away from venue) or Bend (30 mins away from venue). The Five Pine Lodge in Sisters, SCP Redmond Hotel in Redmond, or Oxford Hotel in Bend are the best hotels available in those places.

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

ASAP, but please RSVP no later than March 1, 2026. Some invitations may say your name and the guest, specifying you may bring a date. Some invitations say "and family" indicating your children are also invited.

Do I Need to Rent a Car?

Answer

Transportation to and from the airport is the responsibility of each guest. On the day of the wedding, complimentary shuttle service will be provided only for guests staying on‑site at Black Butte Ranch. Guests staying off‑site will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue; complimentary parking will be available. Rideshare options in Sisters are very limited and, if used, should be scheduled in advance as availability and wait times can vary. While a car is not strictly required, we encourage renting one to easily explore Sisters, Bend, and the surrounding National Forest and to take full advantage of all the great activities the area has to offer!

Are my kids invited?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones, but due to limited seating for both the ceremony and reception, we’re only able to accommodate children if your invitation is specifically addressed to “The __ Family.” We truly appreciate your understanding. That said, Black Butte Ranch, Sisters, and Bend are all wonderfully family-friendly areas! We hope you’ll consider making a long weekend of it and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

What is the Dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Please be cognizant of the weather forecast and dress accordingly :) layers may be needed.

What time should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

Please arrive ~30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony (starts promptly at 4pm, arrive by 3:30pm please).
