FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding celebration mostly adults-only. Children in our wedding party and immediate family will be part of the day, but we kindly ask that others make arrangements for a night out to relax and celebrate with us. We truly appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Thanks so much for asking! You can find all our gift details on the Registry tab of our wedding website. We’ve included lots of items to help us fill our new house, as well as cash funds for our farmhouse remodel, honeymoon, and a few bigger-ticket dreams we’re excited to pursue. We’re so grateful for your support and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests arrive no later than 2:45 p.m. so we can start the ceremony on time and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation for details about your guest status. In most cases, unless we’ve met or know the person, we’re refraining from inviting plus ones to keep the celebration more personal and intimate. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Country Cocktail Attire—think a blend of polished and relaxed, perfect for celebrating outdoors with a touch of rustic charm. For ladies, this means cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or stylish skirts paired with denim jackets if you want a laid-back vibe. For guys, jackets and slacks strike the right balance between casual and dressy. Feel free to wear heels or boots—whatever keeps you comfortable and ready to dance!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you are planning to stay over or want to spend the entire weekend in upstate New York, we have a block available at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Queensbury. Less than 15 minutes away from Lake George and 20 minutes away from Saratoga, this is the perfect location to stay for our wedding and for an amazing leaf-peeping, long-weekend. Check out the travel tab for the link to reserve your room.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking available at both the ceremony and reception locations to ensure a hassle-free experience for all our guests. We’re also working on arranging transportation between the hotel and the venues to make getting around even easier. We’ll share more details as soon as everything is finalized!
