There is only one airport in Koh Samui (USM) and no direct flights here from Australia. Typically flights stop over in Bangkok or Singapore and the minimum flight duration is 11hrs 55mins. I have found Momondo (linked website) to be one of the best flight search engines. Just adjust to suit your dates and departure airport. You can also set up to receive alerts for price changes to your chosen flights before you book.

4* villa-only resort just a three minute drive from our venue, thirty minutes from Chaweng Beach and 27km from Samui International airport. The area is away from the busier areas but you can either catch the hotel shuttle or hire mopeds to get into towns such as Lamai or Chaweng.

5* ShaSa Resort and Residences is a five minute drive from the wedding venue. Shasa is an all-suite hotel within a beachside property. Again here you notice the peace and quiet away from the towns but they are not far away in a taxi, shuttle or moped.

X2 Samui Resort is an all-spa-inclusive resort that is walking distance to our wedding venue (via the beach) or a five minute drive. The resort is made up of 26 one or two bedroom villas each with a small private pool and outside area, i visited this resort during a trip to Samui so let me know if you would like me to send videos of the accommodation here!

The Privilege Hotel
4* The Privilege Hotel Ezra Royal Beach is beautiful and set in a great location close to the beach in Lamai, Lamai would be a great area to stay as it's 15 minutes from our venue and in a busy, fun town. Some of the rooms here have private pools but the ones that don't are a great option for those of you looking for somewhere affordable but with all the facilities of a top hotel.
