What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Come looking your best in formal attire! We recommend a suit or dinner jacket with a tie for men, and a midi or floor-length dress for women. Kindly refrain from wearing jeans or shorts.

Are children welcome at the wedding?
Answer
We would love to celebrate with your little ones, however, this is an adult-only event with the exception of the children in the wedding party.

Will there be a bar?

Are you kidding, we know our people. There will be an open bar all night long!

Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?
Answer
Yes! Despite being a historic building, Longview Mansion has been renovated to include accessible ramps and restrooms so all guests can enjoy the space.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! Longview Mansion has ample free parking for all guests on the property.

Is transportation provided for out of town guests?
Answer
Transportation is provided to and from the wedding. A shuttle will pick up and drop off guests from the Ambassador Hotel in downtown Kansas City. More information can be found on the “Travel” page of our website. If you would like to explore Kansas City, we recommend renting a car, using ride share apps, or researching public transportation options.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
We kindly ask for RSVPs by June 1, 2025. If you need additional time to figure out plans before RSVPing, please reach out to us to let us know.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 5pm. We recommend you arrive by 4:45pm to ensure everyone is seated to begin on time.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting). The reception will be indoors.

What is the weather in Kansas like in September?
Answer
We are expecting spectacular weather! We recommend bringing a jacket in case it gets chilly in the evening. However, the reception will be indoors.

Is it okay to take pictures on my phone?
Answer
We have a great photographer and ask that you be mindful of them during our ceremony. Please sit back and enjoy the event! However, we would love if you took photos at the reception and shared them on social media so we can see them!
