Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking everyone to break out their fanciest clothes to celebrate the occasion! Formal attire, which can mean gowns or cocktail dresses for the women and tuxedos or suits for the men. Is the ceremony taking place at the same venue as the reception?

Yes, all events will be taking place at The State Room.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to invite everyone to celebrate the occasion, only those named on your invitation will be accommodated.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is an adults-only event so that all guests can enjoy the evening. We hope that this advance notice means you can make arrangements to join us and celebrate our day!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Is there parking?

Answer

Free parking will be at the Hilton Albany garage directly across from The State Room, and your ticket will be validated when you enter the ceremony by our venue staff.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue by 4:45. You will be greeted with champagne and can take a seat wherever you would like! Our ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 and will be immediately followed by cocktail hour.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at the Renaissance Albany Hotel for our guests. Please visit the Travel tab for booking information and the link. In order to receive the group rate, you must book your room by May 23rd.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

There will not be any transportation to and from the venue, however, nearby hotels are all within walking distance. Uber is also an option!
