We’re getting married!

Our story began in 2016 on Twitter, of all places, before the football season started between our rival high schools. What started as a playful exchange soon led to our first date, and from there, everything just clicked. Eight years later, we are excited to share our special day with you all!

After their seven-year anniversary in July 2023, Cody decided it was the perfect time to pop the question. He surprised Nikita with a getaway to Ocean City, Maryland, and even let both of their families in on the secret. While waiting for a boat taxi on the beach behind their hotel—supposedly headed to dinner—Cody waited for the perfect sunset moment, got down on one knee and asked Nikita to marry him.
