Hotel Villa Cipressi
Villa Cipressi, the venue that our ceremony and reception will be held at, has a variety of rooms that guests are welcome to stay at during their time in Varenna. We've reserved a block of rooms for October 1st and October 2nd. The following rooms are available in this block: -Classic town view rooms (€370 per night) -Deluxe lake view rooms (€500 per night ) -Prestige lake view room (€560 per night) -Junior suite (€720 per night) To book a room in this block, email info@hotelvillacipressi.it with the booking code "Wedding Alex and Tim, 02 October 2025" as the subject and provide the following information: arrival date, departure date, name and number of guests, and any special requirements. The villa will ask for a credit card number when booking rooms, but no payment will be taken when booking. Rooms can be cancelled by contacting the villa more than 30 days before the arrival date. 30 days before the arrival, the villa will send a secure payment link to collect payment through.
Hotel Royal Victoria
The sister hotel to Villa Cipressi, Hotel Royal Victoria is a four star hotel in the main square of Varenna featuring stunning lake views and a swimming pool. This hotel is located just a short 2 minute walk from Villa Cipressi. Approximate Cost: ~$400 per night
Hotel Du Lac
Located on a little lane right on Lake Como, this small hotel features lovely views across the lake. Hotel Du Lac is a short 4 minute walk from Villa Cipressi. Approximate Cost: ~$175 - $475 per night
Albergo Milano
This quaint hotel in the center of the town boasts views across the lake and wonderful sunsets. Albergo Milano is a 4 minute walk from Villa Cipressi. Approximate Cost: ~$600/2 night stay (Minimum stay 2 nights)
Albergo del Sole
This small 3 star hotel is in the main square of Varenna, where it's immersed in the bustle of nearby diners and restaurants. Albergo del Sol is a 2 minute walk from Villa Cipressi. Approximate Cost: ~$120 - $250 per night
Villa Monti
A lovely historical villa with several apartments a short walk from the town center. Villa Monti is a 4 minute walk from Villa Cipressi. Approximate cost: ~$200-$375 per night
Villa Lucia Grande Varenna
A great option for long term lodging and for guests that may want to lodge together, this large 5 bed villa is in the center of Varenna with views of the lake. Unlike other accommodations where guests book a single room, booking at this villa would mean reserving all 5 beds in the Villa. Villa Lucia Grande is a 6 minute walk from Villa Cipressi. Approximate Cost: ~$4,700/4 night stay (Minimum stay 4 nights)
Airbnb
If you'd prefer, you can also book an Airbnb in Varenna. However, while Varenna is a very walkable town, there are no rideshare services (e.g., Uber or Lyft) and limited cabs in the area, so please be mindful of how close to Villa Cipressi your Airbnb is if you choose to book this as your accommodation.
