Mountaintop Winery

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

As an optional welcome event, we've coordinated a private wine tasting in Brunate, a quaint village in the town of Como, offering mountaintop views of the region. The tasting will be guided by a local Sommelier and will include a variety of regional wines paired with locally sourced charcuterie. The town of Como is approximately a 2 hour ferry ride from Varenna. We will depart Varenna together in the late morning and take the ferry to Como. As a way of welcoming you to Italy and thanking you for making the effort to celebrate us, this event will be at no cost to our guests.

Dinner in Milan

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

On the evening before our wedding, we welcome all guests to join us in Milan for dinner and drinks in the Navigli district, a lively social district located around the city's historic canals. Milan is approximately an hour train ride from Varenna. Guests are of course welcome to depart Varenna at any time, but are also welcome to take the train with us in the morning to sight see around Milan prior to dining in the Navigli district.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Attire: We request that guests' attire is black tie and ask for the color palette of attire to be black and white. For guests who choose to wear a suit, we ask that you wear a black suit with a white shirt and black tie. For guests who choose to wear a dress, we ask that you wear a black formal evening gown or cocktail dress.

The ceremony will start at 4:00pm, followed by an aperitivo hour and formal three course dinner. Please note, the ceremony, aperitivo, and dinner will all occur outdoors on the villa's terraces.
