Train
Trenitalia (The Leonardo Express)
This train will take you straight from the airport in Rome to Rome's central train station, Roma Termini, which is located at the heart of the city. You can purchase tickets ahead of time online, but it is very convenient to simply purchase the tickets at the kiosks once you arrive. We recommend you take this train to Roma Termini only if you would like to see the city before arriving at the property. Otherwise it is faster and more convenient to take a Free Now taxi straight from the airport to the property!

This is Italy's version of Uber. Please download the app before you arrive as it is the most reliable and quickest transportation service for travel between the property and Rome. You will likely use this service throughout the week. When you land at the airport, this is the quickest way to get to the property and should only be about a 20 to 30-minute ride.

Uber and Lime
Rome is filled with scooters and electric bicycles to rent through the Uber and Lime apps. They make seeing the entire city much easier, so have those apps ready to roll for the week.
Rental Car
Scooter or Car
For those of you interested in renting a Scooter or Car, there are several US-based rental agencies within a block of Roma Termini (Hertz, Enterprise, Sixt). Please keep in mind that most Italian vehicles are manual and an automatic transmission will come at a much higher cost. If you are feeling bold and would like to rent a Scooter, we used OnMovo and had a wonderful experience. They are a block from Roma Termini as well, though you will need to make sure you get your baggage to the property somehow if you plan on renting immediately upon arrival.
