First Friday in Downtown St Petersburg
On the first Friday of every month, downtown St. Petersburg transforms into one giant, open-air block party. Expect live music, great local food trucks, artisan vendors, and buzzing streets as neighbors and visitors come together for art, music, and fun. The event usually runs from early evening on Central Avenue (between 2nd & 3rd Streets). It’s laid-back, festive, and a perfect way to kick off the weekend.
Craft Kafe Downtown
Craft Kafe is one of our favorite spots in St. Pete! It’s a fully gluten-free café and bakery where everything—from the coffee to the pastries—is made with care and creativity. Trust us, you cannot tell it’s gluten free! We love their cozy vibe, delicious lattes, and fresh food, and we can’t wait for you to check it out while you’re in town.
Whiskey Joe's | Tampa
If you’re staying near the wedding venue and want a tasty bite, Whiskey Joe’s is a great spot! With a relaxed waterfront vibe and delicious Floribbean-inspired dishes, it’s perfect for grabbing a meal and enjoying the view.
Columbia Restaurant
The Columbia in Ybor City is such a Tampa classic! It’s Florida’s oldest restaurant, serving incredible Spanish-Cuban food, famous sangria, and maybe even some Flamenco dancing in a beautiful, historic setting. We recommend having dinner in one of their many private rooms for a special experience.!

Ferg’s is the ultimate St. Pete sports bar and such a fun spot to hang out! With tons of TVs, great food, and an energetic atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to catch a big game. If you’re staying in town for the Super Bowl, we definitely recommend joining the crowd at Ferg’s for the full local experience.
