Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have thoughtfully listed the names of all invited guests on each invitation. If your invitation includes “and Guest,” you are welcome to bring a plus one. If only your name is listed, the invitation is extended solely to you.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We have decided to have an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children who are part of the wedding party. We kindly ask that other children remain at home so that everyone can enjoy the evening to its fullest. If you have questions or need assistance arranging childcare, feel free to reach out!

Where is the Rusty Pelican located?

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

For the ceremony, we are kindly requesting that all guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony to ensure that the professional photographers and videographers can capture the moments. We ask that you enjoy the ceremony in the moment and allow the professionals to capture the special memories. After the ceremony, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos, and we encourage you to share them.

Is parking available at the venue?

We will have complimentary valet parking at the Rusty Pelican for the ceremony and reception.

Will transportation be offered to the venue?

Answer

We will be offering free shuttle transportation from 4:15-5:15 pm to the Rusty Pelican from the wedding hotel for guests who would prefer to not drive: The Westin. We encourage all guests staying at hotels nearby The Westin (including the Holiday Inn and Doubletree) to also take part in this free transportation. Due to guests leaving at different times, we will not be offering transportation at the end of night from The Rusty Pelican but encourage guests to carpool back and/or take advantage of Ubers and Lyfts. We also will be offering free valet parking at the venue for any guests who’d prefer to drive!

What's the dress code?

Answer

The attire is black tie optional attire. This means long, formal gowns or cocktail dresses for the ladies and suits or tuxedos for the gentlemen. We want you to look your best for this classy event!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, please use responsibly. We expect to see everyone busting a move on the dance floor.
