Wine Tour

A recommended wine experience in the area is a visit to Col di Lamo Winery, located in one of the most scenic parts of Tuscany between Montalcino and the Val d’Orcia. The estate spans approximately 200 acres of land, with 14.8 acres planted with Brunello di Montalcino vines, 3.7 acres dedicated to Rosso di Montalcino, and an additional 4.9 acres producing other varietals. The vineyards sit at an elevation of around 984 feet, contributing to the structure and character of the wines. Visits typically include time in the vineyards and cellar, along with guided tastings that highlight the estate’s Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, offering a classic introduction to one of Tuscany’s most celebrated wine regions.
