to angela i looked across the room in 5th period & saw the white girl with the sideways North Carolina hat (pink by the way) & matching jersey & i thought oh I’m about to be friends with her for sure. That was in 2000, & that was the last day we were not best friends. My circle is pretty big by some standards. so many people have come and gone. Not her. No one else understands me & my love for chipotle & reality tv like her. She also happens to get my heart and holds it safely. Oh. i should mention she’s on the short...i mean short list of people who i allow to tell me what to do. to jose It’s tough for me to say who she is to me because angela keeps a strong hold on her...but when i met her i knew why. She’s now my second wife by association. Plus she’s a bodybuilder...so there’s that.

to jose my brother from another mother. Angela hates when people say that but it’s true. In Honduras we say “compa” my “pasano” to describe a close brother. That’s Alex... through ups and downs. When we met at work 8 years ago it was WWIII. Two young hot heads trying to be better. That turned into a friendship. then a best friendship. He will always be one of the ones who knows me best. to angela Allllleeeee (when he reads this he will be able to hear me say it). I call him my bodyguard. He was one of the first people who talked to me when i started at my job 6 years ago. He said i reminded him of a little sister & from then on that’s what i was. He has always looked out for me. Makes sure I’m good...which includes bringing me cinnamon for my coffee every morning.

to angela When she came to hillstone...she walked into the locker room & i thought i was about to find out about a sister i never knew. We spoke & i said to myself “we are either never going to speak again or that’s about to be my best friend” here we are. I would not be standing here marrying this man without her. I promise. She has been a support for me like i never knew. some people stay through thick & thin...but then there are the ones who stay for the thicker. This is her. to jose My little sister (because obviously Carrie is the big sister). I have been able to watch this girl grown over the last handful of years. but while i was watching her grow...she was helping me grow. She can both hype me up & calm me down. who she is to my angela is everything. So to me shes everything.

to angela it the first show after my accident i was choreographing. one day we had this 10 hour long rehearsal. her parents lived right behind the school so she invited me over to kill time (eat) on our break . Quite literally from that day forward i made myself part of that family. Hannah is what they talk about when they say ride or die. She goes out of her way to be there for me and make me laugh like no one else (other than micheal & dwight) can. Also...she taught me how to dress better and accessorize. to jose the smart one of the bunch. she makes you want to be her best friend 5 minutes after you meet (and she probably hugged you instead of shaking your hand). She has the best sense humor & makes me feel loved & like family every single time. also she calls me J...and i like that

to jose A stand up classic guy. There are almost no people i would trust with my life...he’s one. When we are together it is always an adventure. No one makes me laugh like him. No one is a real as him. Some of my first memories of angela are with this guy...of him telling me to not let her get away. so like angela always says...here we are. Since day one. When I started at hillstone 8 years ago we were in the trenches together and he stays a loyal friend. A friend for life. to angela One day i walked into work and all the line guys were cracking up. All of them. Loudly. I said who Is making them laugh like this. Enter Tyler. yes...he really is that funny. Just an all around stand up guy. He took me in right away and said "if your jjs girl...that means we're family" And we are.

to Jose Mr. wonderful. Mr. clean. This guy has the biggest heart but look out for him on the dance floor. I like to call him the male angela. I know that I can talk to him and he will actually listen. When we're together its chrome meets chrome but he is a supportive brother in this family angela and i have surrounded ourselves with. to angela Oh boy. This guy. Moving to New York was hard because i was going even further away from my family at a very broken time in my life. I believe god sent Tyren to me as a brother who could be by my side & continues to be. I don’t know where I’d be without his love & support. It’s been wild to grow along side each other. Not to mention who would hype me up on the dance floor or laugh really hard at my jokes.

to angela Never really called her a friend...she’s always been a sister. When people say how long have you known each other we laugh because i used to buy my Girl Scout cookies from her. She has such a special place in my heart. she has filled so many shoes in my life & would (has) dropped everything to make sure Im ok. Even if when we are just sitting there we have the best time. Her love is non conditional. And that’s the best kind. to jose I say she’s my lil sis but i also say she’s the brains of the operation. Me her and angela are this rat pack little family. She never takes sides. she takes whatever makes us better together. She lets me think I’m right even when I’m wrong. She goes out of her way to be a good friend to me. Plus she loves food & cooking as much as me.

to angela: when i transferred to UNC I asked her advice on something (after we had just met) & she answered me so clearly & plainly with this look on her face that said "don't you ever doubt yourself again." That was that. She continues to be a voice of reason for me. i like to think i never would have met jose without her and *hayden (see his story). She is a partner in crime when i need it. Or a sister. A cool aunt. She is so many things to me. And i love them all. Almost as much as i love her laugh. to jose She’s a riot man. When we met & she found out angela liked me...she didn’t let me get away with anything...ANYTHING. The way she stands by angela means so much to me but she also has my back. I never knew i needed someone like her in my life until she showed up. Love this girl

to angela The dapperest of all dans. This class act. He walked into work with the cleanest shave and sharpest uniform I’d ever seen. I forced him to be my friend. He accepted. He’s one of those friends that will literally do whatever you’re doing just to spend time with you. If i want pizza and beer or a housewives binge or a sushi night. He will do it. All of it. He has the most calm spirit that balances me out & he constantly reminds me that i can do anything. to jose my east coast clone. fashion icon and mentor. always a step ahead with everything he does. trends don’t phase him including being just a casual friend. this guy is family. the dosent matter how long its been you just pick right back up kind. He's bold in the pursuit of his dreams and i admire and learn from it.

We go back to the early hillstone days. working on the line next to each other i got to know how big his heart really is. I don’t give out trophies very often. but he gets one. to angela Another day one. This guy right here is the opposite of me in about 100 ways. Most of them having to do with the volume speed and length at which i talk. He’s my quiet buddy. But man when he talks i listen. He does whatever he can that will make me smile. He’s also a friend...a brother to jose that adds to his life. And man oh man can he cook.

to angela This friendship i never saw coming. But boy am i glad its here. We went to college together but didn’t really know each other outside of running in a few of the same circles. A few years later i saw her facebook status say she was moving to New York so i messaged her and told her my job was hiring. She showed up and instantly we were connected. These past few years we have grown closer than i could have imagined. She is one incredible person who celebrates her people as they are and loves them intently. I’m blessed to be one. to jose this one. she wears many hats in our lives (including a dodgers hat which ill let slide) but she loves me in all of them...in all of mine. a leader a go getter a hustler and the only other girl who can tell me to be quiet...and i just might be.

to jose this guy. one summer working in the hamptons angela came home and said she met this guy who instantly felt like family and when i met him i knew why. you won't find a more kind soul. he's just a good old fashioned gentleman and nobody works harder. i can talk to him about anything even on the bad days and laugh about everything. He is like a brother to angela and i plus he makes a mean s'more. yes ladies he is single. to angela mi amor. i used to have 5 brothers (marcus calvin cameron cassidy and siad. count em) but after i met him i started telling people i had 6. I promise you this guy is one in a million and works harder to chase his dreams than you. He is the best listener and the best dancer and has been a friend to me when a brother isn't enough. also the guy can dance.

Oh and kills it at the gym like me & whit. to angela I was subletting the empty room at Natalie & Hayden’s (told you i owe them) not knowing where my next place would be and a friend of a friend said “know anyone looking for a place?” Enter Yam. She let me come with what little i had and never thought twice about it. Beyond the place to live, she was a lifeline I didn’t know i was reaching for. We laughed we cried. We danced. Oh we danced. She Also gave me something no one else could...a football buddy for jj so i could watch dance moms on my laptop.

He is one of the most talented people i know... & kindest. An instant friend from the day we met in college & we're even closer now. He will always be one of my favorite things about New York. to jose my man. guaranteed your gonna have a good friend & great company in him no matter where you are in life. & what a tall drink of water...my tom brady. the champion. the G.O.A.T. he is one of the people i feel the most comfortable around. The way he had angelas back from day one...seeing how he valued her made me want to love her better.

We never spent a day apart the next 5 years. This man supported me from giving up after the first 3 pages of my algebra book to graduating magna cum laude. With endless nights at Red Robin and The Rio in between he remains to this day a person i know with no doubt that i can count on at anytime. to jose the little rascal. the free spirit. another one who took me right in. I call her one of the founding fathers of our life together. shes been around since day one & has always loved me for who i am & where i am at but challenges me to be more. To angela For over 10 years she has brought a joy & bounce to my life. Lets me say all my wildest dreams out loud and then tells me to go get them. She knows me in a way that when i call & say wanna come over...she shows up with nail polish, magazines, sushi, wine & tissues & says “I didn’t know what kind of ‘wanna come over’ it was". as only she could... when she met josé there was no simple “nice to meet you” she grabbed his hand, gave him the biggest bear hug and called him by my nickname for him.
