Things To Do

Dana Point Harbor

34571 Golden Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629
, (949) 388-3663

Walk around the harbor and view the cool boats with some coffee from the Coffee Importers or head down for lunch / happy hour at one of the many restaurants and bars right on the water. Wind & Sea has the best Mai Tai and by ‘best’ I mean the strongest. There are a few surf shops like Killer Dana as well, but the main attractions are the boats and eateries.

Dana Point Bluff Top Trail

34342 Street of the Amber Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629

This cliffside walking trail with paved pathways & boardwalk offers panoramic coastal views. It is conveniently located in downtown Dana Point and hosts the city’s famous Arches which were originally built to be large windows that look over the marina. Search #danapointarches on Instagram for views of the arches.

Salt Creek Beach Park

33333 East Pacific Coast Highway, Dana Point, CA 92629
, (949) 923-2280

This beach features amenities such as a half-court basketball court, a seven-acre grassy Bluff Park, steep hill for running sprints, boardwalk for walking next to the sand, and offers opportunities for surfing, swimming, and tanning. Grab a beer/glass of wine and some food at Young’s Beach Shack and enjoy the view.

Monarch Beach Golf Links

50 Monarch Beach Resort North, Dana Point, CA 92629
, (949) 248-3002

An upscale golf course on the same property as the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort. This course not only has ocean views but hosts stylish dining options as well.

Laguna Beach

31716 Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651

Laguna is full of beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants, and fun bars. There's some great shopping as well. Highly recommend getting appetizers and drinks at The Skyloft for an epic ocean view before shopping on Forest Ave. near Main Beach.

Avenida Del Mar

Avenida Del Mar, San Clemente, CA 92672

Make your way down to the last real beach town in Orange County. San Clemente has the true surfer-town feel. Del Mar street is the best for eating, drinking, and shopping. Nick's San Clemente is the bride and groom's favorite place to dine!

San Clemente Pier

San Clemente Pier, San Clemente, CA 92672

The pier offers direct access to San Clemente Pier Beach, which is an idyllic place to surf and tan. It's also an ideal location to catch a quintessential California sunset, with a variety of restaurants and shops. Local favorites include The Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar and Pierside Kitchen + Bar.

Mission San Juan Capistrano, Landmark, Chapel, Museum and Gardens

26801 Old Mission Road, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675
, (949) 234-1300

Mission San Juan Capistrano is the “Jewel of the California Missions” and is located in the heart of San Juan near restaurants and bars. It is a beautiful sight to see! Grab a sandwich from FKN Bread or stop for happy hour at Trevor's on the Tracks - Where the bride and groom had their first date!
