FAQs

If you have any other questions, please feel free to text the bride at (949) 607-7717.
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the afternoon. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure to let us know about your +1 when you RSVP.

Question

Where is your wedding and reception exactly?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location: St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church 33926 Calle La Primavera, Dana Point, CA 92629. Please feel free to drive and park your car in the huge parking lot or Uber/Lyft if you will be enjoying more than a few adult beverages!

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is a day time/lunch wedding so please dress casual. Ideas for men: Pants and a blazer with no tie or a nice shirt and a pair of slacks with no jacket. Ideas for women: A nice sundress or dress, a jumpsuit, or a two-piece outfit.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather during October is typically still in the 70's but because we will be next to the beach, please prepare for overcast clouds. Pack a light sweater or jacket just in case!

Question

Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

The Mass and ceremony will be held inside of the church. The reception will be inside as well. Cocktail hour will be outdoors - weather permitting.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, plenty! There is a huge parking lot with FREE parking on site.

Question

Will there be open bar?

Answer

If you know us then you should already know that answer. Yes, absolutely! Beer, wine & cocktails

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have lunch food, adult beverages, and regular beverages catered by the owner of Giana Bakery & Provisions and Maison Cafe + Market.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We do not. Please look under the "Travel" tab on our website for hotel suggestions that are near the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage guests to arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and find their seat before the Mass and ceremony begin at 11 am.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom will be available for pictures. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving beverages and hors d'oeuvres.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP online by August 21, 2023.

For all the days along the way
