Our Love Story We both downloaded Hinge with one foot already out the door, fully prepared to delete the app and retire from dating for good. But God had other plans. Right before we gave up, we swiped right on each other and… here we are planning a wedding. Wild. Our first date was July 8, 2025 at one of our favorite Thai restaurants. From the moment we sat down, something felt different. There was a peace and a familiarity we couldn’t quite explain. Later on, we realized what it was… love at first sight. One of us caught on a little faster than the other, but don’t worry, we got there. What was supposed to be a quick dinner turned into hours of talking, laughing, and not wanting to leave each other’s presence. After dinner we walked through Cunningham Park, completely lost in conversation like we had known each other for years. Neither of us wanted the night to end and honestly… it never really did. From the beginning, we were intentional with each other. No games, just honesty, consistency, prayer, and really getting to know one another. Somewhere along the way, we realized we were experiencing a kind of love we didn’t even know was possible. Between the long conversations where we could literally spend hours talking about anything and everything, time would pass and feel like five minutes. We found ourselves dreaming, praying, and planning a future together that felt bigger than anything we could have imagined on our own. Somewhere in the middle of all of that, we realized this wasn’t just something casual. This was real. This was intentional. This was something God was building. So what started as two people ready to delete a dating app turned into a love story we could have never planned on our own. We truly believe God brought us together, and we’re so grateful He did. Now we’re getting married, and we cannot wait to stand before God, our family, and our friends and step into this next chapter together as husband and wife. With love, Dami and Stephanie
