Like many good stories, ours starts in the middle of chaos—prime COVID, 2020. Hannah had just graduated from college, but due to restrictions, wasn’t allowed to walk across the stage (a fact that still stings a bit). So, her family threw a small celebration the only way people really could back then: a very socially distanced Patio Party. That night, her stepbrother Brandon posted a congratulatory Snapchat story to celebrate her graduation. Somewhere across town, Landon—then president of his fraternity—saw the post and, in true pandemic-era fashion, slid into the DMs. Not Hannah’s DMs, though—he messaged Brandon, looking for an introduction. Brandon passed along her number, and the rest, as they say, is history. Their first date was in Charlottesville, Virginia—dinner at Burger Bach followed by beers at Champion Brewery (if you know them, you know breweries are their happy place). Funny enough, both spots closed shortly after COVID, so they’ll have to find a new “first date” spot after they tie the knot on June 20, 2026. They officially started dating on 7/11—Landon loves to joke that he picked the easiest anniversary to remember, and that they can always celebrate with free Slurpee's at 7-Eleven. Five years, one beautiful home, two black labs (Axel and Oakley), and countless memories later, they’re still each other’s favorite person—and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
