Flight

Airports

We recommend flying into Oakland International Airport (OAK). OAK is the closest and most convenient option as it is just a short 25-35 minute drive to the wedding venue (depending on traffic). Other Nearby Airports San Francisco International Airport (SFO): SFO is another major hub that may offer more flight options. The drive to the venue is approximately 45-60 minutes, but please note that travel time can vary widely depending on Bay Area traffic and bridge tolls. San Jose International Airport (SJC): SJC is the furthest option, about 60-90 minutes from the venue. While certainly an option depending on if you choose to extend your vacation in that area, you'll generally find it easiest to travel from OAK or SFO.

Public Transportation

White driving or taking a ride-share is the quickest way to get to our venue, it is possible to reach Hacienda de las Flores using public transportation via a combination of BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and a local bus. Note that public transportation from the airports to your hotel is also a possibility based on where you are staying. From any BART Station, take the best route to the Lafayette Station. Head to the nearby bus stop and catch a local bus (such as route 10, route 6, etc.) to the Donald Drive/Moraga Road area. Please be sure to check the latest county connection schedules. If you choose to use public transportation, please plan your journey ahead of time using a mapping app such as Google maps for the most accurate step-by-step directions based on your exact starting point and time. This will also provide more information on ticketing and costs.
