FAQs

This page is dedicated to providing all of the necessary details and information to ensure you have a wonderful and stress-free time celebrating with us. If you can't find the answer here or on any of the other tabs, please reach out to Chance or Jess. We are happy to help!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP link is not live yet. It will be a tab on the website at the end of January 2026. When it goes live, we are aiming to have all responses back by 2/28/26. This allows us the necessary time to finalize details and get the headcounts to the venue and caterer.

Question

Why is the wedding on a Thursday?

Answer

We know a Thursday wedding is unconventional, but we chose this day because it was the last date available at our dream venue before our big move. We truly appreciate you taking the time to celebrate with us!

Question

The wedding ends at 9pm?! That's so early!

Answer

Yes, the wedding does conclude at 9pm. While we know this may seem early, we need to respect the strict noise ordinances in the area. For anyone interested in keeping the party going, we are exploring the option of an informal after-party near the hotel. Details about the location will be shared on the website closer to the wedding date. Stay tuned!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm PST. Guests can arrive at the venue starting at 3:30pm. We kindly ask all guests to be seated at least 15 minutes before the start time. Because of the unique layout of the space, we will not be able to seat late arrivals once the ceremony has begun. Please be mindful that Bay Area traffic is constant; we ask that you plan your travel accordingly to ensure you arrive on time. If you do miss the ceremony, please join us immediately afterward for cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is moody cocktail attire. For ladies, examples include cocktail-length dresses, midi-dress, or stylish separates. For men, examples include suit and tie or sports coat and slacks. Our dress code is a recommendation meant to inspire a "moody" vibe, but please don’t stress—we want you to feel comfortable and don't want anyone to feel like they need to purchase something new! We only ask that you keep the following bridal party colors in mind: FOR MEN: You are welcome to wear any suit color you like! We only ask that you refrain from the specific combination of a solid black suit with a white shirt (Groomsmen attire). If you want to wear a black suit, just pair it with a different colored shirt! FOR WOMEN: We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, solid black, or solid burgundy dresses (Bridal party colors).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy the wedding, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. The only exception is for the children in the bridal party and a few close family children who were specifically named on the invitation and RSVP form. We hope that you can still join us for a fun night of celebration! Kids are more than welcome to come to the Send-Off event the day after the wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people! Our invitations state whether or not a guest is included for you. When you RSVP on the website, you will be able to see exactly how many seats have been reserved for you. We appreciate your understanding as we celebrate with our closest friends and family! If you are unsure if you have a plus one, please reach out to Chance or Jess.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The greatest gift you could give us is celebrating with us! If you'd like to get us something, we're focusing on making memories rather than collecting a bunch of items. We've listed a few things, but would prefer a contribution to our Newlywed Fund, which can be found on the "Registry" tab. There is the option to do so via a credit/debit card or Venmo. The credit/debit card option does charge you a fee. For any physical gifts, we prefer they be sent to the address provided in the registry. There will be a card box present at the wedding as well.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when you fill out the RSVP, there is a space to note any food allergies.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We are excited to offer a delicious and diverse buffet-style dinner featuring a range of our favorites! To kick off the evening, a selection of appetizers will be available during cocktail hour.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We are happy to provide an open bar for the duration of the cocktail hour and the reception. Please enjoy responsibly!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking available onsite.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are still working on the hotel blocks.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be primarily outdoors. The ceremony is taking place in an outdoor space and the reception will be held in a tented area outside. There will be gas heaters present. The dance floor, bar, and photo booth will all be inside.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

The weather in Moraga in April is mildly cool and breezy. During the day, expect mild, spring weather with temperatures in the mid to high 60°F's. The ceremony will be outside and comfortable. Once the sun goes down, the temperature drops quickly, usually into the low 50°F's to high 40°F's. We strongly recommend bringing an extra layer for the evening.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, please see the "Schedule" tab. There is a Send Off Event the day after the wedding.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

Please reach out to Chance or Jess.
