Chance was love-struck upon seeing Jess’s pictures and decided to take the plunge by messaging her on Hinge. Jess was impressed with the creativity of Chance’s first message which read, “We are on a bus to Mexico City. We each have one ear bud in. What is the first song you play on our playlist?” With Jess’s love for Mexico City and for travel, the conversation flowed with ease. For our first date, Chance chose Pennyweight Brewery - a perfect choice since we share a love for a good craft beer and a chill atmosphere. The date was supposed to be a quick one-hour drink to "feel it out," but hours flew by as we discovered that we had far more in common than just an appreciation for a good beer. We talked about everything, from our early days in the metal scene and our love for meal prepping and the gym, to our shared morals and values. The connection felt natural and we even got mistaken for a married couple of “years” from a complete stranger. When the brewery closed and kicked us out, we both knew that we’d found someone special. We both deleted Hinge and continued to fall in love thereafter. The rest, as they say, is history. Now, we’re ready to raise a glass to the future.
