June 30th. We'd STRONGLY prefer you to RSVP via the stamped RSVP cards we included in your invitation because that's more fun for us and we paid for all those stamps, but also if it's getting down to the wire and you can't bring yourself to go all the way over to your own mailbox, then you can RSVP here. We'll judge you slightly and you'll owe us big time.
The registry has plenty of unique options to choose from, including cool experiences or the chance to contribute to our Patagonia fund, for example. However, if you have a really good idea for a gift you think we'd appreciate, you're welcome to choose that.* *If you get something through the registry, they'll either let us choose when it's delivered to us or send us the value of the item directly (if it's something we choose that wasn't listed on Zola). However, if you're doing any non-Zola gifts, we'd appreciate it if you could mail it to us in Portland, since we'll be flying in and out of town, and it will probably be difficult to carry extra items with us. Thank you! The address is: 2620 SE Morrison St. Portland, OR 97214 If you'd like to grace us with a performance of some sort, we're also happy to incorporate that into the reception. Just let us know! :)
Summertime Casual Cocktail -- Basically try but not too hard. It'll be August in the mountains so probably kind of hot while the sun's out and then very pleasant in the evening. We don't recommend wearing stilettos since the venue is a ranch (i.e. dirt and grass and whatnot). The vision for women: Pretty dresses and jumpsuits. The vision for men: Pants, decent shirt, probably a tie. You miiiiight be able to get away with jeans if you had a recent haircut, or if they have pleats or something. We can't wait to see you!
We accounted for serious partners and dates for people who might not know many other people, but otherwise, we think you'll have a pretty good time with all the cool people who are going to be there! : )
There is free parking available at the venue, and parking attendants will help you with that! Note: There isn't great reception at the venue (although there is wifi), so Lyft/Uber might be trickier, BUT the venue also assured us that it's usually fine with the wifi.
There are a bunch of options about 15-20 minutes away from the venue. The best value seems to be Travelodge, which we mentioned in the "Travel" section. Otherwise, we will be renting a vacation rental on Friday and Saturday for anyone who wants to stay. Let us know ASAP if you'd like to get in on that!
Yes! We're going to the beach the next day at Dockweiler State Beach in Playa Del Rey. Specific lifeguard station TBA.
Christian made them! He selected, hand cut, and folded each envelope, hand carved the stamps that were used on the front of the invitation and the RSVPS, and carefully selected the postage stamps. He's so crafty!
They said Verizon gets 4G LTE, and otherwise you're probably not getting much service. However, they do have wifi that we can all use. WiFi Network: Netgear16 Password: dailyphoenix783
