Is there a dress code?

Answer

For Friday's welcome reception, smart casual attire is encouraged. We kindly request formal attire for our wedding day celebration. For men, we suggest suits or sport coats and for ladies, we recommend optional floor-length or elegant cocktail dresses. Friday (7/24): Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the welcome drinks?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the hotel blocks. The shuttle to the welcome reception will depart the hotel block around 8:15 pm. There will be returning shuttle options around 10 pm and 11 pm back to the hotel blocks. There is also public parking available for those who wish to drive.

Saturday (7/25): Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plentiful parking available outside both our church ceremony and reception venue for your convenience. The Chenequa Country Club will also have complimentary valet available for those who wish to drive.

Saturday (7/25): Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Yes, large shuttles will be making trips from our hotel blocks to the reception venue at 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm. For your convenience, a shuttle will be making periodic trips from our reception venue to our hotel blocks beginning at 9:00 pm. Additionally, at the conclusion of the reception, there will be shuttles provided for transportation back to the hotel blocks.

Will the ceremony be a full Catholic Mass?

Answer

Yes, guests can expect traditional readings, prayers, music, the exchange of vows, and Holy Communion. The ceremony will last approximately one hour, and we are grateful to share this meaningful and sacred celebration with you. For those who are not Catholic, or who prefer not to receive Communion, are warmly invited to come forward with their arms crossed over their chest to receive a blessing instead.

What time should I arrive to the church?

Answer

We kindly request arrival 20-30 minutes ahead of the start time, as we will begin promptly at 2:00 pm.

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a little over an hour between the end of ceremony and the first shuttle departure. We suggest regrouping at the hotel before the transportation service begins at approximately 4:30 pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Thank you for your understanding.
