Do you have any travel or hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please visit the “Travel” page on our website for more details about hotel accommodations, wedding day transportation, and airline options. We highly recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency Conroe, where many of our wedding events will take place or be nearby, making it easy to fully enjoy the weekend’s celebrations with us.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided between the Hyatt Regency Conroe and the venue on our wedding day. Please visit the "Travel" page on our website for specific departure times and details. There will also be parking available at the venue for those who choose to drive (see the "Travel" page on our website for parking details), and rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are readily available in the city as well.

Is there a specific dress code?

Answer

Yes, formal attire! Tuxedos, suits, floor-length gowns, and elegant mid-length cocktail dresses are welcome. We encourage you to wear something that makes you feel amazing, nothing is “too extra” for Texas!

Will your wedding ceremony take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held indoors in an air-conditioned setting at our venue, The Homestead. Perfect for staying cool in the Texas heat!

May I bring a guest, plus one, or my child?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to venue capacity we are only able to accommodate those guests and children who are specifically listed on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding!

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests RSVP by or before our specified date - July 5th, 2026. After this time, we will be unable to accept additional responses due to final vendor and catering counts. Without a response, you will be recorded as unable to attend. Thank you so much for your timeliness and attention to this matter.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests place their phones on silent and keep them put away during the ceremony, allowing everyone to be fully present and to respect the privacy of our union. Take as many pictures as you'd like post-ceremony during cocktail hour and the reception! We look forward to sharing professional photos with you afterward.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Our venue, The Homestead, proudly supports Texas brands behind the bar, so the majority of the beverage choices will be locally brewed, crafted, and distilled from within the state! There will be selections of beer, wine, and liquors of your choosing to enjoy as well as specialty cocktails chosen by the bride and groom. Soft bar drinks and mocktails are also available upon request. Please note that our venue requires security officers on site, and we kindly encourage guests to drink responsibly (and to take the transportation shuttle back to the hotel, if necessary)!

If I chose the filet option for dinner, what temperature will it be served at?

Answer

Filet entrées will be served medium to ensure consistency in preparation and efficient service from our catering team. Please contact the bride or groom directly if any changes need to be made to your dinner selection.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

Our reception will conclude at 11:00 p.m., with "last call" at 10:30 p.m. Dance the night away with us until the last song and take the final shuttle back to the hotel right at 11:00 p.m. (see the "Travel" page for transportation details if you plan to leave at an earlier time).
