Plan to spend some time feeding the gators and GET THE GATOR BITES, Travis’ favorite meal in Florida! Definitely a touristy spot but good food and cool experience.
3rd Planet Brewing
Bring food or order from a one of our local food trucks, they change daily! This is a family friendly space, plenty of kids can be seen running around. Order Shannon’s favorite Luminous Cloud or Justin’s favorite Beach Bohemian!
Turkey Creek Park
Float down Turkey Creek! Love this boardwalk right down the road in Valparaiso. Take a float or two and plan to walk from one end to the other and float back down.
The Boathouse Landing
Cute little local restaurant. They serve a fantastic brunch! Shannon’s favorite is the chicken and waffles, Justin just wants the Bayou Omelette and sweet potato fries!
Okaloosa Island Pier
Good fishing pier, great for walking, fishing or just watching others fish. Almost always will see a dolphin or 10 when visiting. Cost is $2.00 to walk, adults fishing pass (includes license) is $8.00. You can rent rods and purchase bait and tackle there.
