What should I bring to the wedding?

Yourselves! And any alcohol you would like. The bride and groom will have tea, lemonade, water and soft drinks.

What time should I plan on arriving?

We ask that you arrive at 6:30pm as the ceremony will take place promptly at 7:00pm.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

We will be asking people to car pool as much as possible. There will be parking at Florida Park right down the road as well as the Wilder’s home at 391 E Fern Dell Dr. Valparaiso, Fl. E Fern Dell is a short walk from the Florida Spring home. There will be a shuttle service available for anyone who does not feel comfortable walking to the ceremony location.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress casual is the style requested. It is a good ole Bayou wedding so no need for stuffy full suits but please keep it on the dressier side. Polos, button up and khakis pants/shorts are fine! Dresses or other women’s dress clothes are fine as well. Think beachside wedding comfort style. Bride and groom ask that guests do not wear jeans to the wedding.

What type of shoes do you recommend?

The ceremony and reception location will be outside in a blend of wood decking and sandy grass area. Use your own discretion.

What is the temperature expected to be?

Answer

Late March and early April tends to have the low around 50s and highs around the low 70s. It can be a bit unpredictable with some years swimming weather and others sweater weatha. It really just depends on the year so plan to layer and bring those bathing suits just in case!
