The best part about Summer in Telluride! Mountain Biking - rent a bike from Telluride or Mountain Village, and hit the bike park or a local trail Hiking - All Trails is the best app to have for comparing hikes! Our favorites are Bear Creek Falls, Bridal Veil Falls (plus go the extra distance to Blue Lake), Cornett Falls (currently under construction, hopefully open again by wedding time), and either Jurassic or Boomerang trail. Alta Lakes - about a 45 minute drive from Telluride. Paddle board & picnic encouraged. Jeeping - if you're looking for great views without exerting too much effort, rent a jeep/off road vehicle and go explore some of the mountain passes in the area. Last Dollar Road is a beautiful and mellow off-road option that most cars can handle. Check out guided tours of the zip line adventure park in Mountain Village and the via ferrata by Bridal Veil falls.
Check out the Farmers Market on Fridays in Telluride, right off the Gondola, from 10:30-3:30. Get a massage at one of the many spas. Walk around Main Street (Colorado Ave.) and pop in and out of shops. Try on fancy hats in Overland, get a T-Shirt at Shirtworks, linger with a coffee in Between Two Covers bookstore, and wander into the park along the river trail.
