Question

How do I prepare for Telluride's high altitude?

Answer

- Get extra electrolytes in a few days before arriving and the first few days in Telluride - Pedialyte and Liquid IV work great. - The slower you can move into high altitude, the better. Flying into Denver, staying for a day, and then driving to Telluride should help with acclimating. - Stay Hydrated! Drink twice the amount of water you normally would. - Pace yourself with your drinks - you WILL feel a buzz quicker than normal, so mix in a water. - Boost+ Canned Oxygen is available at most gas stations / convenience stores in Colorado and can help alleviate some uncomfortable symptoms. - If you have experienced altitude sickness in the past, reach out to your doctor for a Diamox prescription (it works wonders for Kelli). The pills linked below are also a big help. Start taking them at least 3 days prior to arriving (copy & paste the below links into your browser). https://altitudeadjustment.com/product/altitude-adjustment-dietary-supplement-pack/ https://www.kroger.com/p/altitude-adjustment-all-natural-tablets/0085447800001 https://www.amazon.com/Bonine-Sickness-Chewable-Tablets-Raspberry/dp/B000YA8NYQ

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Bring them to Telluride, but please leave them with a sitter on the night of the wedding! We love your mini me's but we want you to party the night away. We recommend using telluridesitters.com

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1st!

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Dress fun and flirty with a sprinkle of fancy. Men - ties are optional. Ladies - long or short dresses or classy jumpsuits with heels. Keep in mind that if you are not staying at the venue, you will have a 5-10 minute walk to the venue from the gondola. Telluride can also be a bit unpredictable - check the weather! If there is a chance of rain or the temperatures will drop in the evening, bring a sweater or jacket along.

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You can let us know any food allergies you have when you RSVP.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the pool deck and the reception will be just inside so no transportation is required in between.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Mountain Lodge has valet parking for $28 per night. The best transportation option is to take the gondola to either Station Mountain Village (which is in the heart of Mountain Village), or Station Village Parking where there is a parking garage (free during the day, paid if you leave your car overnight). From there, Mountain Lodge is just a 5 minute walk from Station Village Parking or a 10-15 minute walk from Station Mountain Village. Check out this link for more info on parking in Mountain Village and Telluride: https://townofmountainvillage.com/explore/getting-around/parking/

Question

Hangovers are scary - help!

Answer

We have recently sold our souls to the devil in exchange for a hangover cure - it's called H-Proof. They are chewable pills that help your body metabolize alcohol more effectively. They taste horrible and they are expensive but THEY WORK! You can get them on Amazon.

For all the days along the way
