What is your dress code for the Welcome Event?

Answer

The Welcome Event will be hosted at the Penn Brewery, a short 7 min drive from the Hotel Monaco. The setting is very casual so feel free to come more dressed up or in jeans if that is what you prefer!

What is your dress code for the events at Longue Vue Club?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Longue Vue Club, which is a very elegant country club. Please come dressed in cocktail to formal attire for these events. Cocktail dress, long dresses, and pant suits are perfect for the ladies, while we ask that men wear suits. The ceremony will be held outside on the patio with no shade, so please be prepared for be in the sunshine for about 45 minutes during that event.

Is parking included in the room fee at Hotel Monaco?

Answer

Parking is not included in the price of your stay at Hotel Monaco. If you are bringing a car on site, you will be charged for parking per day.

Is transportation provided from the Hotel to the Ceremony?

Answer

Yes. A 23 passenger shuttle will make 2 trips from the Hotel Monaco to Longue Vue Club. We ask that you plan accordingly, as shuttle seating is limited for each trip. If you are not able to get on a shuttle, Ubers and Lyfts are available, but should be ordered so you arrive at the ceremony no later than 4:15 pm for a prompt 4:30 pm start time. Is transportation provided from the Reception to the Hotel?

Answer

Yes. A 23 passenger shuttle will make 2 trips from Longue Vue Club to Hotel Monaco at the end of the evening. Again, there is limited seating on the shuttle, so please plan accordingly. Ubers and Lyfts will also be available for your trip back to Hotel Monaco. Please visit the Travel page for me detailed information on the shuttle schedule when leaving the reception.

Is parking available at Longue Vue Club?

Answer

Yes. There is plenty of parking at Longue Vue Club, for those who plan to drive themselves. As always, drink responsibly if you plan to drive following the reception. If you feel you cannot drive after the ceremony, you can leave you car on site and we will help you find alternative methods of transportation.

What are the Covid-19 policies at Longue Vue?

Answer

At this time, Pittsburgh has not added any mask mandates for indoor events, therefore we will not require that you wear a mask, unless something changes in the next few weeks. Vaccines remain a good defense against Covid-19, and many in attendance will be fully vaccinated. Longue Vue club has ample patio space for outdoor seating for those who would prefer to remain socially distant. If you are feeling sick or have come in contact with anyone that has had Covid-19, we ask that you remain at home or test to ensure there is no spread of the virus. We want everyone to be safe and have fun, therefore we just ask that everyone does what is most comfortable to them and respectful of those around them.
