FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating at Château des Trois Fontaines in Pernes-les-Fontaines, Provence, France on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 — the day after Labor Day, which makes it the perfect time to extend your long weekend into a European getaway.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. We’d love for everyone to lean into the elegance of the château and the magic of Provence. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors on grass, so we recommend block heels or wedges for women.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will all take place outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of the château gardens. Later in the evening, we’ll move indoors for dancing and late-night celebrations.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and enjoy a true getaway.

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP directly through our website on the RSVP tab. You’ll find all the details there.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are several beautiful guesthouses, boutique hotels, and countryside mas (traditional Provençal homes) located just a few minutes from the château. You can find our recommendations on the "Travel" tab. We suggest booking accommodations early, as September is a popular time in the South of France. If you have any questions about accommodations or logistics, please feel free to reach out.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to the château for the wedding day. However, we will be providing transportation back to nearby accommodations at the end of the wedding evening so everyone can celebrate safely and fully enjoy the night.

Question

What’s the best way to get to Pernes-les-Fontaines?

Answer

You can fly into either Paris or Marseille. From Paris (CDG or Orly Airport), take the high-speed TGV train to Avignon TGV Station — about a 3-hour ride through the French countryside, then a 25-minute drive to Pernes-les-Fontaines. From Marseille Provence Airport (MRS), it’s about a 1-hour drive or an easy regional train ride to Avignon or Carpentras.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We recommend it! Having a car makes exploring Provence — vineyards, lavender fields, and nearby villages — much easier.

Question

Is there parking at the château?

Answer

Yes, there’s ample on-site parking for guests who choose to drive.

Question

Are there any other events we should plan for?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting a welcome party and a farewell brunch — full details can be found on the Events tab.

Question

Why France?

Answer

As many of you know, most of our 5 years together have been spent abroad — bouncing from Airbnb to Airbnb and calling a dozen cities around the world “home” for a little while. Of all the places we’ve lived, our favorite by far was the month we spent in the South of France. When we were in Europe after our engagement, we decided to tour a few venues in France just for fun… and then we stepped onto the grounds of Château des Trois Fontaines. We instantly fell in love and could so easily picture all of our favorite people celebrating with us there. And because travel is such a special part of our lives, we wanted to invite everyone we love to take a European vacation with us — to experience a little of the magic that means so much to us.

Question

Who can we contact with questions?

Answer

For any travel or logistics questions, feel free to reach out to Alec (510-418-7421) or Krista (925-323-1457) — we’re happy to help!
