Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden
Shout out to our friends David and Jamie for introducing this on one of our trips - this coffee / beer garden embraces the principles of permaculture, sustainability and regenerative systems, utilizing rainwater harvesting, chicken coops, on site composting, biological ponds and waterfall gardens... Share a boozy iced coffee and some breakfast tacos with some friends. You will not regret it.
Barton Springs
It will probably be too cold in April, but if you're up for a dip - this is the place! The pool itself measures three acres in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature maintained at 68-70 degrees year round

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants on 6th Street - definitely make a reservation while you're in town!
The Volstead Lounge
The Volstead is a classic vintage cocktail lounge mixed with a little bit of east side dive bar. Inspired by old world New Orleans, The Volstead serves everything from classic and seasonal house cocktails to old-world wines and your favorite tall boy beer. This is a great place to catch live music any night of the week!
Shangri-La
Most likely where we'll end up on Saturday night after the concert! You know Yoni and Becca love a good dive bar. An expansive dog-friendly patio & jukebox tunes highlight this lively dive bar-meets-beer garden.
Taco Deli
You're in Austin. You want a breakfast taco. Can't go wrong with this spot.
Loro
Asian smokehouse and bar by James Beard Award winners, Chef Tyson Cole of Uchi and Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue. Surprisingly casual and generally an easier spot to get some of that Franklin brisket than Franklin's itself.
Easy Tiger
Just west of I-35 in downtown, this place is known for their beer garden, breads, meats and ping pong. Aside from the beer, everything on their menu is prepared in house. Continue a hop down 6th street if you want to experience what we lovingly refer to as "Dirty 6th"
Circuit of the Americas Boulevard
One of the more epic events you could take in while you're in town - the 2020 Moto Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas. This track built in 2012 is the ONLY PLACE IN THE COUNTRY to witness Formula1 and Motorcycle Grand Prix races. If you're into fast machines, this may be tough to pass up.
