FAQs

Question

What is your new wedding date?

Answer

We have rescheduled to November 1, 2020! Details to follow shortly!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire - Less formal than black tie and black tie optional, which means no tux required for men and no floor-length gown required for women (unless you'd like to wear a long dress!)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids almost as much as we love you, but we're asking that you leave them at home on Sunday night! Kids of bar / bat mitzvah age have been directly invited. (Friday's family Shabbat dinner and both Saturday's picnic and the Scoot Inn are all-ages.)

Question

Do I need a ticket for Saturday night?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Do I need to purchase a ticket for Saturday night?

Answer

No! Just please make sure to RSVP by February 7th

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Will the food at the wedding be kosher?

Answer

Yes! We are providing a certified Kosher menu with dairy, fish and veggie dishes.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Nope! The Pershing is a 5 minute Lyft / 20 minute walk (or a 10 minute scooter!) from both the Sonders and the East Austin Hotel.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is very limited parking but we would actually prefer you took a ride share Lyft or Uber, especially if you're planning on having anything to drink!

Question

Will you be providing kippahs at the ceremony?

Answer

No! This is a B-Y-O-K wedding (Bring Your Own Kippah)! We encourage you to bring your favorite and if you feel so inclined, bring extras for others to use.

Question

If a man speaks his mind in a forest, and no woman hears him... is he still wrong?

Answer

Yes.
