The wedding of

Stephen and Abigayle met in June of 2019 just a month after they graduated college. Both accepted sales positions with the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, where they met in the lobby on their first day of work, and soon found out they'd be working back to back in the cubicles! Abigayle was born and raised in North Carolina - grew up in the small beach town of Surf City and went to college at UNC Chapel Hill. Stephen took a chance moving South, leaving his home outside of Boston after graduating from Babson College (where he would soon teach Abigayle what a suite party was). After they got past the initial culture shock of his northern attitude and her southern attempts at being everyone’s friend - they quickly became best friends. Both Abigayle and Stephen lost their fathers when they were younger - which subconsciously built a foundation of support, trust, and respect. They bonded over shared interest like fitness, being the life of the party, and meaningful conversation. After a few months as best friends, a flirty email, and a shared kiss on Halloween, they soon realized they were madly in love and Stephen's quick stint in the Carolinas wasn't a short term plan any longer. When covid hit, Stephen took a different job to stay closer to Abigayle. They figured out life one step at a time - moving from a starter apartment, to their dream apartment downtown, and became homeowners in the Summer of 2023 in the city that's grown to be a part of their identity. Stephen proposed on February, 2nd 2024 in the heart of Boston so that, as a couple, they would always have a connection up North as they continue to build their forever home in North Carolina. A decision that Abigayle will cherish forever as she has fallen in love with the city that Stephen grew up in. To further intertwine their families, they combined Stephen's grandmother's ring and Abigayle's mother's engagement ring from her father onto one band. They are blessed with incredible families, the most amazing friends, and an immense support system. They are in awe of God's faithfulness and give him all the credit for allowing them to cross paths in such an unpredictable way. They are so eager and overwhelmed with excitement to have everyone they love in one place, Wilmington, NC, to celebrate and dance the night away!
