Minnehaha Regional Park/Minnehaha Falls
Interested in a walk/easy hike or just getting outside? Check out Minnehaha Falls. You get the best of both worlds. It's a nice mix of urban and outdoors.
Central Park of Maple Grove
For those of you staying in Maple Grove, Central Park provides a great opportunity for you to get outside and enjoy what the park has to offer. There is a beautiful lawn, garden, walking paths, courts with rental equipment available and more.
Elm Creek Park Reserve
This is where we took our engagement photos! This park features amenities for almost every outdoor activity, including the Eastman Nature Center, miles of hiking and biking trails, a swim pond, mountain biking and much more. Check out the website to see the activities they offer.
Stone Arch Bridge
Here is a great option for those wanting to spend some time outside in an urban setting. You can see beautiful views of the Minneapolis Skyline and the Mississippi River. Note: Street parking in the area may cost you.
Mall of America®
If it's raining, you love shopping, or you're just looking for something to do inside, Mall of America is always an option! It's roughly 30 minutes from Maple Grove.
Bde Maka Ska or Lake Calhoun
Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, Lake Harriet, and Cedar Lake are a chain of four lakes in Minneapolis. There are bike and walking paths, parks, beaches, and kayak/paddle board rentals at Wheel Fun Rentals.
Biaggi's Restaurant
This is our favorite Italian restaurant. Located right in Maple Grove. The fresh baked bread that is served before your meal is to-die-for.
The Lookout Bar and Grill
Here is Maple Grove's only "townie-bar." It's a pretty fun spot with good food. There is usually live music Thursday-Saturday evenings.
Birch's on the Lake Brewhouse & Supperclub
We went on our first date here. The food is fantastic! There is a brewery downstairs, supper club upstairs, and patio seating out back.
Rojo Mexican Grill
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant located in West End. Their margaritas are incredible. West End is another fun area with a lot of restaurants and shopping!
Good Day Cafe
Interested in a spot for breakfast? This popular cafe dishes up locally sourced comfort eats in a down-to-earth venue with outdoor seating.
Milton's
An amazing cafe with fresh food. Soul food & American staples, plus wine & beer, offered in a chill space with local art & a patio. Breakfast is awesome here.
