FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brynley Baker and Cade Clepper
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask guests to plan on arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking, shuttle time, and seating!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! We invite guests to dress up while keeping comfort in mind. September evenings in Crested Butte can be cool, and while outdoor heaters will be provided, we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap.

Question

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the garden, followed by a reception in the pavilion with three walls and one open-air side (perfect for soaking in the Colorado fall scenery!).

Question

What is the parking situation for the venue?

Answer

Parking at the venue is limited, with a small number of on-site and nearby roadside spaces available. Parking is permitted in the dirt parking lot below the Pavilion and along Gothic Rd. at the south end of the park. Overflow parking should be along the west side of Gothic Rd. (the park and Town Hall side). Guests are asked to avoid parking in the paved Town Hall lot. We encourage guests to use Mountain Express town shuttle, FirstTracks on-demand rides, or carpooling when possible. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are very limited in the area, so planning ahead is helpful! Please visit the Travel tab for more transportation details.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love and adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us fully!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar during the reception. A friendly heads-up that Mount Crested Butte sits at over 9,000 feet, and ride-share options are very limited. At this elevation, drinks may hit a little faster than expected, so please pace yourself and plan transportation accordingly.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

In the event that weather does not permit the ceremony to be held in the garden, we have reserved the Union Congregational Church chapel. We will send a message to guests prior to the wedding if this plan is needed; Guests do not need to make any changes unless notified! Union Congregational Church 403 Maroon Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224

Question

Is anything happening Friday night?

Answer

After our rehearsal, we plan to stay in town for drinks and would love to spend a little extra time with those who are arriving early! Exact location and time is still TBD, but we’ll update with details closer to the date.

Question

What if we can’t make it?

Answer

We completely understand that traveling for an out-of-state wedding isn’t always possible. Please know there is absolutely no pressure. We’ll miss you, and we’re so grateful for your love and support from afar!
