Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Dylan Cincotta and Samantha Christensen

Nadia Ganom

Maid of Honor

Nadia is Samantha’s oldest friend, dating back to first grade in Mr. Flox’s class. As a kid, Samantha loved her so much that she even made her Webkinz username “Ganom” after Nadia’s family (which really freaked Nadia’s mom out). Together they navigated college applications, medical and law school applications, and countless late-night advice calls. Nadia is considered part of the Corbett family and is currently in medical school. Much to Dylan’s delight, she is considering anesthesiology. Samantha has already been overjoyed to 'participate' in several thorough conversations about the nuances of anesthesia between her fiancé and her best friend. Pairs best with: A French 75, drank at a classy wine bar or while studying at Tea Zaanti

Kevin Cincotta

Best Man

Kevin is Dylan’s much cooler younger brother. While more of a city slicker, he has shared many Utah adventures with Dylan and Samantha, from skiing at Snowbird to hiking the canyons. He and Dylan actually discovered the engagement photo spot together over Thanksgiving 2020. Kevin is a talented artist based in New York City (@kevincincotta) and a great friend to both Dylan and Samantha. Pairs best with: A complimentary hard seltzer, enjoyed at a gallery showing

Anna Eberhardt

Bridesmaid

Anna (Ebby) is Samantha’s much cooler younger sister. Growing up, the Corbett family spent weekends outdoors fishing, tubing, and 4-wheeling. Samantha’s favorite adventure with Anna was driving the Schaefer Trail in Canyonlands, which ended in a blown transmission (fun fact: Dylan’s transmission also blew on that same road, though your rental car will probably be fine). Anna is now an EMT in Salt Lake and she is planning to continue on to become a paramedic. Dylan and Anna also enjoy sharing stories about their patient care experiences. Pairs best with: TBD when she has her first sip of alcohol on her 21st birthday

Adam Brown

Groomsman

Adam and Dylan met during a semester abroad in New Zealand in 2016, which Dylan calls “the most concentrated fun of my life.” Together they bought “Larry the Legnum,” a $900 car they used to explore the South Island when they weren’t diligently studying. Adam eventually moved permanently to New Zealand with his wife, Athena, and the couple is making the long trip to celebrate. Pairs best with: A bottle of scrumpy, sweet as

Erin Howell

Bridesmaid

Erin and Samantha became friends in 2020 when Samantha and Erin worked together at the University of Utah Hospital. Not long after, Erin joined Samantha on a trip to Hawaii, which solidified their friendship and also brought her close to Nadia. Since then, Erin and Samantha have traveled together across two continents and six countries, somehow surviving every adventure. Pairs best with: A $4 sand castle bucket cocktail, any kind. If not available, a Moscow mule at the International Bar & Lounge will do

Danny Beatty

Groomsman

Danny and Dylan first met while skateboarding in their middle school parking lot, both scruffy with long hair. They became close in Mr. McCreedy’s guitar class and later reconnected in college through rock climbing. Together they have tackled peaks including the Cathedral Traverse in the Tetons, Elephant’s Perch in the Sawtooths, and the North Ridge of Mount Baker in Washington. Pairs best with: A riverside IPA after a day in the hills

Georgia VanDerwater

Bridesmaid

Georgia and Samantha became friends several years ago, with one hallmark of their close friendship being a 24-hour road trip to Denver to see Flume, one of Samantha’s all-time favorite artists. Since that trip, the two have remained close and enjoy skiing, wine nights, and any fun outdoor or indoor activities that foster quality time. Samantha deeply admires Georgia’s kind heart and sense of humor. Pairs best with: A chilled glass of chardonnay, enjoyed on her couch in her well-decorated Sugarhouse home

Sam LaFeber

Groomsman

Sam’s friendship with Dylan was sealed by Colby College’s housing administration office, which placed them across the hall. Over time, Dylan grew on him, and they lived together for three years in the “Fortress 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0.” Sam witnessed Dylan’s early backpacking days, back when Dylan thought jeans were appropriate trail gear. Pairs best with: A Coors Light, cold as the Rockies, or a sidecar depending on the occasion

Madi Gallegos

Bridesmaid

Madi and Samantha first met in the same office as Erin. After several years of having to listen to Samantha over the hospital staffing desk, Madi left to attend PA school, and now she is a practicing Burn PA at the University of Utah. Samantha values Madi’s adventurous spirit, their shared love of skiing, workout classes, and dinner dates. The two have even talked about living together someday in Bozeman, Montana (sorry Dylan). Pairs best with: A lift beer, followed by a parking lot brot

Patrick Sullivan

Groomsman

Pat and Dylan also met during their New Zealand semester abroad. Pat taught Dylan how to outdoor rock climb and later became one of his most aggressive and reliable ski partners in Salt Lake. Many powder days later, they remain close friends. Pairs best with: A lift beer on a deep day at Snowbird, before Pat pressures you to drop a cliff on the way down

Camryn Long

Bridesmaid

Cam and Dylan first met at Folly Quarter Middle School, though she was initially closer to Dylan’s brother, Kevin, during band at Glenelg High School. She was the original pioneer down the Oregon Trail to Eugene, inspiring both her parents and Dylan’s parents to follow. Cam became an important support and warm welcome to Seattle for Samantha when she moved after 25 years in Salt Lake. Cam is also in medical school in Lebanon, Oregon. Pairs best with: An Oregon pinot noir on a spring afternoon

Caleb Uzcategui

Groomsman

Caleb is Dylan’s oldest friend and a founding member and singer of Overheated (link). Their friendship began in 8th grade and grew through countless airsoft battles and high school dances. Caleb even visited Utah during Dylan’s pursuit of Samantha and witnessed the infamous phone call where Dylan begged her to join him on a camping trip in his new Tacoma—an invitation she declined. Pairs best with: Jungle juice, made from the smallest pour of each bottle in your parents’ liquor cabinet

Logan Gillen

Officiant

Dylan and Logan met at Colby College through the outing club but became much closer after discovering they had both moved to Salt Lake after graduation. A shared hunger for the mountains cemented their friendship. Logan was Dylan’s number-one listener through the long-fought battle to win Samantha’s heart. He was part of the Peru climbing expedition where Dylan sent Samantha daily messages via satellite phone, ultimately winning her over. Once Dylan and Samantha started dating, Logan and Samantha became close as well. Despite an international move to France and then California for Logan, and a move to Washington for Dylan and Samantha, the three have stayed connected through frequent catch-up calls and, more memorably, a week-long trip through France, Italy, and Switzerland. It was there that Samantha and Dylan truly experienced Logan’s undying love for French culture. When they learned Logan had officiated previous weddings, it was an easy decision to ask him to marry them given his lasting relationship with both. Pairs best with: A flask of Chartreuse, enjoyed on a mountain ridge
