Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Dylan Cincotta and Samantha Christensen
Southern Utah is home to some of the most iconic red rock landscapes in the country. Moab is a very sentimental place to us, and we are so excited to share it with the people we love. Because our wedding falls on a holiday weekend, we expect Moab and many of the local activities to be busy. We recommend making reservations for tours or activities in advance when possible and allowing extra time for travel, as popular parks and roads may experience higher traffic.

Canyonlands Viewpoints (Island in the Sky District)

This section of Canyonlands National Park offers easily accessible overlooks with sweeping views of the Colorado and Green River canyons. Don’t miss the easy hiking trails such as Grand View Point, Green River Overlook, and Mesa Arch during sunrise (Mesa Arch is our personal favorite, and one of the most photographed locations in the US National Parks).

Arches National Park

Arches National Park is a large red rock national park just North of the SpringHill Suites Hotel. A few notable hikes and viewpoints in the park include: - Corona Arch: A 1.5 mile hike to one of Moab’s most stunning natural arches, often called “Little Rainbow Bridge.” The trail features ladders, slickrock sections, and expansive canyon views, making it a fun and scenic adventure just outside the park boundary. - Delicate Arch: The most famous arch in Utah and the iconic symbol featured on the state’s license plate. This 3 mile round trip hike climbs across slickrock to a dramatic freestanding arch perched above the desert landscape.

Colorado River Rafting

Experience Moab’s red rock scenery from the water with a float or whitewater trip down the Colorado River. There are several companies in town that offer half-day, full-day, and sunset trips.

Fisher Towers

A 4.2-mile out-and-back trail located on route 128, about 40 minutes Northeast of Moab. The hike winds through towering red spires that are popular with climbers and make for dramatic photos. The land along this route has been used as a filming location for many Western films. There is a winery and even a Western movie museum (the Museum of Film and Western Heritage) that you can stop by on your way out.

Little Wild Horse Canyon and Bell Canyon Loop

This 8-mile hike through two photogenic slot canyons is one of Samantha's favorites, located in the San Rafael Swell, about 1.5 hours from Moab.

Papa Joe's Gas & Go (Jerky Area 51)

A quirky roadside stop between Green River and Moab known for its alien-themed decor and wide jerky selection.

Moab Rock Shop

A Cincotta classic. This local shop features fossils, minerals, and rocks from around the world. We stop there any time we're in Moab, and Dylan always comes home with one too many rocks.

Hole 'N' The Rock

UT

Hole N" The Rock is a roadside attraction located about 20 minutes South of Moab, centered around a 14-bedroom home carved out of a sandstone cliff.

Hell's Revenge Jeep Tour

One of Moab’s most famous off road experiences, Hell’s Revenge is a slickrock trail just outside town known for its steep climbs, dramatic drops, and incredible views of the surrounding red rock landscape and the Colorado River. Several local companies offer guided Jeep tours (we recommend a guide).
