The closest airport is Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, Idaho, just a thirty-minute drive to Ketchum/Sun Valley. Many hotels offer complimentary shuttles from the airport. Boise Airport offers more flight options and often more affordable fares, though it's a two-and-a-half-hour drive to the valley. We've always driven the nine hours to Sun Valley from Las Vegas ourselves, usually with our dogs and snowboards. If you enjoy a road trip with friends, it's a beautiful drive and has been our go-to way of getting there.

On the night of the wedding, we'll provide transportation for all guests so everyone can relax, have fun, and get home safely. Shuttles will pick up from several major hotels and return everyone after the celebration. If you're staying at a nearby Airbnb, feel free to walk to one of the pickup locations. For getting around during your stay, we highly recommend renting a car since Uber availability can be limited as Sun Valley is a smaller town. All major rental companies (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, Hertz) are conveniently located inside Friedman Memorial Airport. If you prefer not to rent a car, many hotels offer shuttle services, and there's an excellent complimentary bus system called Mountain Rides that runs throughout the valley (linked below).

Whenever we visit Sun Valley, we always stay in Airbnbs as there are so many great options located across the valley. When searching, look for properties in Sun Valley or Ketchum for the closest proximity to the wedding venue and downtown area. Hailey and Bellevue are also just a short drive away and often feature options in a wider array of price ranges.
