Fort Worth Stockyards
If you have never been to Fort Worth, you have to spend some time here. Catch the daily cattle drive at 11:00 AM or 4:00 PM, explore the shops and bars, and fully lean into the yeehaw.
Salsa Limón
Our absolute favorite taco spot. Any location is great, but the West 7th location is walking distance from The Crescent. Order the El Capitan tacos or in the morning breakfast tacos / burritos.
Hudson House
We have basically eaten the entire menu and have yet to find something we do not like. Our go tos are the salads, burgers, French chicken, Bleu & Gold Martini, and the Spicy Mexican cocktail. It is also right on Camp Bowie not far from the hotel.
Chuy’s on West 7th
Our first date spot! We always come back for the fajitas and creamy jalapeño ranch.
Cherry Coffee Shop
Our fav coffee place on Magnolia, right by where Madison used to live. Get the Cherry Latte.
HG Sply Co.
One of our favorite spots when we want something a little healthier without sacrificing flavor or drinks. They have great bowls, proteins, salads, cocktails, and plenty of options for different diets.
Pacific Table
A longtime favorite in University Park Village. We love the miso salmon and sushi. Great for lunch or dinner if you want something a little nicer without being overly formal.
Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar
The best sushi in Fort Worth. We are obsessed with the gindara black cod nigiri and salmon belly nigiri. Fair warning, we have been known to order an unreasonable amount of the salmon belly.
Joe T. Garcia's
A Stockyards staple. Go for the patio, strong margaritas, and classic Tex Mex experience.
Heim Barbecue on the River
If you're coming to Texas, BBQ probably needs to happen & Heim is one of our Fort Worth favs.
Buffalo Bros
Our pick for the best wings. Casual, easy, and perfect for watching a game.
Coco Shrimp
Casual, quick, and so good. We are obsessed with the shrimp sampler platter and Coco tacos.
Billy Bob's Texas
The world’s largest honky tonk and a true Fort Worth institution. Check the concert schedule, grab a drink, and experience a little Texas country nightlife.
Second Rodeo Brewing
A huge, lively Stockyards spot for drinks, live music, and groups. Great if you are looking for somewhere fun after dinner.
Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
Our rehearsal dinner will be here and it is also incredibly close to The Crescent.
Kimbell Art Museum
One of Fort Worth’s best museums and an easy addition to a Cultural District afternoon.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden
A beautiful way to spend a slower morning or afternoon. Great in the spring and very close.
Trinity River Trail
If you want to get outside, walk or bike along the Trinity River.
The Lazy Moose
A laid back Magnolia spot with a fun pool bar vibe. Great for casual drinks, hanging outside, and a fun evening with pool.
Pete's Dueling Piano Bar
A fun downtown option if you want live music and a lively night out. The dueling piano setup makes it super interactive and it is a great choice for groups who want to keep the night going.
Rogers Roundhouse
One of our favorite casual places for drinks, food, and hanging outside.
Cane Rosso
A great choice for pizza and pasta. Easy for groups and always a crowd pleaser.
Rodeo Goat
Great burgers, fries, drinks, and a casual Fort Worth atmosphere. An easy lunch stop if you are exploring the Cultural District or West 7th.

Perfect if you want something fresh, great smoothies and açaí bowls.
The Amber Room
A more intimate cocktail spot in South Main with a speakeasy feel. Good for a quieter drink before or after dinner.

TCU Baseball Game @ Lupton Baseball Stadium & Williams-Reilly Field
If you’re a baseball fan, go cheer on our alma mater! TCU Baseball has a home series against Oklahoma State during wedding weekend, with games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It is a fun way to spend some time on campus and get a little taste of TCU while you’re in Fort Worth.
