Madison and A.D. first met freshman year at A.D.’s 80s themed fraternity party. They crossed paths throughout the night and ended up spending part of the evening together watching DJ Esco perform. About a year and a half later, the timing was finally right. Madison was single, A.D. reached out, and he even told his friends, “See this girl? She’s going to be my girlfriend.” The first time they really spent time together, they sat in his fraternity chapter room talking for hours, completely losing track of time. They clicked instantly. Somehow, it felt less like meeting someone new and more like finding someone you had known forever.
After a few months of talking, they had their first official date at Chuy’s in Fort Worth and made it official on February 22, 2019. From there, their lives became intertwined pretty quickly. Madison met A.D.’s family, visited his hometown of Wichita Falls, and brought him to Atlanta. They went through college together, survived Strategic Communication classes, traveled everywhere from Possum Kingdom Lake to Mexico and ski towns across the country, made it through COVID long distance, and eventually graduated into what they called “medium distance” between Dallas and Fort Worth. Through every version of life, they kept choosing each other.
One night, A.D. FaceTimed Madison from Dallas and showed her an Australian Shepherd puppy named Stella Bean Bigot. Madison immediately got in the car and drove to Dallas to meet what would obviously become their child. It has pretty much been the three of them ever since. In 2024, Madison finally moved to Dallas. They moved in together in 2025, and that August, A.D. proposed in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
When we started thinking about where to get married, there were so many places that meant something to us. But Fort Worth felt different. It is where we really got to know each other, where we had our first date, where we went to college together, and where we fell in love. Getting married here feels like bringing our story full circle. We get to return to the place where so much of our life together began and share it with all of the people who mean the most to us. We cannot wait to have our favorite people together in Fort Worth and celebrate the beginning of this next chapter with all of you.
